    One of the worst parking lots ever! Some people don't know that there is parking in the back too! Literally every single restaurant in this shopping center is good. Thanks for the review!

      Right! I went to eat at Pho Kim Long in that shopping center a few months ago around 10pm and that parking lot was jam packed and people were just sitting there waiting for a spot to open up. It was complete chaos and I was surprised it was still so busy that late at night. I made the mistake of turning in there and got stuck for a really long time. I should have just gone straight to the parking in the back. There's lots of parking in the Chinatown Plaza too and its just a short walk over from there. And you're right about each restaurant there being good. I hope to make a video of each place eventually!

    Hey Bansan, you are such a FOODIE ! I had no idea that Spring Mountain long strip mall had a classy French Restaurant in there too. It's outside my budget ha ha but I enjoyed watching your dining experience with commentary.

      Thank you so much! And I apologize for the bad audio in this video. I was using an old microphone in my old videos so that sound quality wasn't very good. There are so many hidden gems in the Chinatown area that not many people know about! Its not all just Asian food out there! Haha, I definitely love eating and trying out a variety of different cuisines!

      @@bansandoesvegas Yeah, hope you get more viewers and subscribers soon! The fact that you make the effort to talk a bit about the history of the restaurant ( owners ) etc gives good context to us locals. The city is ever changing and the restaurant scene is so competitive and dynamic. Our Las Vegas Foodie Culture is ever seeking more enjoyable dining experiences both on and off strip.

    The bread that comes with the cheese dish looks just like the bread at Bouchon

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  Рік тому +1

      I haven't eaten at Bouchon before. Will have to try it out sometime and make a video! I think this was like a baguette type of bread. If I remember right it was pretty hard on the outside but the inside was soft and chewy.

    • @curly6619
      @curly6619 Рік тому

      @@bansandoesvegas Bouchon is fantastic, I have dined at the one in Napa too. Thomas Keller will never disappoint you. Anthony Bourdain shot an episode of his show there. Their frites are outstanding but literally any dish you order at Bouchon will be good I promise.

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  Рік тому

      @@curly6619 I always wanted to eat at the French Laundry restaurant too. If Anthony Bourdain says its good then it has to be good, haha. I always loved watching his tv shows and he left us way too soon. I'm looking at pictures of the food at Bouchon online and everything looks great. I can't wait to go eat there. And you are right, the bread at Bouchon looks like the exact same as the bread at Partage, haha
      I was thinking of eating at Joel Robuchon or L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in the MGM soon too. Have you eaten there before?

    How much do you think this will cost on the Strip? I’ve never been in that plaza. Didn’t know there was parking in the back. Thanks for sharing. Looks really good. 😀

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  2 роки тому +1

      I haven't been to many french restaurants on the strip but looking at the tasting menus of restaurants like Guy Savoy at Caesars and Joel Robuchon at MGM, the cost could easily be double what this place costs. But Joel Robuchon has been named "Chef of the century" and the food there would undoubtedly be amazing.
      This plaza is a short drive from the strip too so it's very convenient. Lots of good restaurants in that plaza and in that area.

    a restaurant like this one is a destination place. whoever in their right mind would pick that spot should be flogged. i have been there before and its a mad house at night ,especially the weekends. .

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  2 роки тому

      Haha they probably chose that spot for the cheap rent and the proximity to the strip! It’s definitely not a spot you would think to find such a fancy restaurant that’s for sure!

    Would you say this meal was worth it? I'm considering asking my husband to take me here but I have had so many french course dinners in the past. They were all good but it's not like I ever remember one specific dish that stood out.

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  Рік тому +1

      I haven't eaten at very many french restaurants so it was worth it for me to experience and I enjoyed the food and service there. It was a ton of food too and even by the 6th or 7th course I was already getting full. But since you've had so many french dinners already it might be tough to say if its worth it haha. But this restaurant gets great reviews from most people online. I would say you should try it at least once if money is not an issue. And they only have tasting menus and nothing Al la carte and they change up the courses often. I'm looking at recent pictures online and all the dishes are completely different from what I ate there a few months ago so I don't know if the food now is as good as what I ate but they are pretty creative with the dishes. And your right about not remembering any specific dishes but the Foie Gras dish stuck out to me the most here. I ate Foie Gras once before and I hated it but I actually liked the one that I ate here.

    The truffles to me are a bit excessive and sometimes just another way for them to be able to charge you more. I don't need truffles on *every* dish ya know?

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  Рік тому +1

      That is very true! Not everything goes well with truffles either. I think I actually paid extra for all the truffles so normally there isn't that much.

  • @curly6619
    @curly6619 Рік тому

    and yes compared to somewhere like Picasso or Guy Savoy you are getting a better value off strip.

    • @bansandoesvegas
      @bansandoesvegas  Рік тому

      Agreed, I haven't been to those restaurants so I can't compare if the food quality and taste is better or not, but at Partage I got like 9 courses, 2 mocktails, and extra truffles for like $200 and that probably would have been alot more expensive at one of those french restaurants on the strip.
