Excellent, I have only just bought a 1st print and read the rules over the weekend. Looking forward to seeing the 1.5 version of the rules. Great timing 👍🏻
Such a great dungeon crawl. Print out the updated errata. There are a few errors in the adventure book that will cause major confusion from being directed to wrong prompts. Chapter 6 has the first major mistake.
Ya there were a lot of little Misprints that make it a little harder. Hopefully, the apocalypse will be a lot better since it was proof read by a lot of players as well!
At 1:12:58 . If the two single tiles would not be able to reach the second hero would they still be placed towards or are they forfeit? Also, which direction/mirrored version does one use? The s shape for instance.
Oh good question! So the 2 single tiles will still be placed, they will just grow to as get as close as it can to the next strongest hero. So you place it in any direction that gets it to or as close to the strongest hero as possible. So each time it may be different.
Hi, great video but are you sure about the darkness? i thought it would only split up if it does not fit the spot it is place on not if it can't reach the hero.
Sadly yes I am sure, this was an change in 1.5 version. On page 45 it says ‘This is true even if the Darkness could fit on the map, but would end closer to its Target by breaking into three small ones.’ This is not my favorite change, I feel like it take away the uniqueness of the different shapes.
@@BoardGameOfficer yeah we house ruled that one out. I see what they're doing and why, but it takes away from the unique quality of the pieces and also adds more time consuming fiddliness which this game already has enough of. We only break it down to 3 if it can't fit on the board/space. Thanks for all your coverage of this game, by the way. We're only just starting to play it now and this rules overview has helped tremendously!
Ya, the standard is much more functional, but to say at the end of the game the deluxe is a little nicer just because you have a lot less little individual cards all over the place!

@@s.spikoski5120 agreed with that one! And I’m glad that it helped!
Thanks!
I hope it helps! Let me know if something isn’t clear or if I missed something!
"deluxe" board seems inferior to me, too big, picture of avatar is too big and not as stream lined.
