Hi. during the process face Id stopped working and pin number shows always as incorrect. what might have happened?
You need to unsolder the speaker from the Face ID port and re solder the new one on if you change the whole part you loose Face ID

Those two small gold contacts next to the battery. You can see them when he removes the speaker assembly.
@@2ndAveScents any thought to why my speaker and mic would quit at the same time?? I would assume the mic has the same type of contacts
Is the replacement speaker an apple part or is it a off brand. If it is off brand is it oem quality or better? What is the quality of the parts. I had a screen replaced at a local phone store and it was never right. They used a non oem screen and it would click on things while scrolling it was a nightmare I couldn’t browse UA-cam without clicking every video
