Both of my parents died from lung cancer, it's a horrible disease and watching a loved one suffer from it is beyond heartbreaking. Kudos to Terry Fox and his unwavering bravery and strength, God bless!! Thanks you for sharing Mr. Fox's story.
@@DoreeseEveritt I was with each of my parents thru their separate battles. It was tough and ugly but I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm sorry for the loss of your sister, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

When I was a kid we would camp off Lake Superior, in the Porcupine Mountains. While camping we used the bathe in that lake! Even in mid August that water was still FREEZING! IT IS HUGE! The shipwrecks alone I guarantee haunt that water! Lots of history. Super cool video Angelo!

As someone who has survived ovarian cancer, I can honestly say that it is the worse thing that I have ever gone through. I honestly thing the hardest part is surviving and then having the chance of it coming back looming over you for the rest of your life. Terry did an amazing thing for those with cancer and he is truly a hero.
Who hasn't heard of Terry Fox, he's a Canadian legend. Never seen that Momument. Lake Superior is really nice. Glad you had some decent food Angelo. Big thanks for taking us with you and showing the beautiful Canadian North.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Honestly your piece on Terry Fox was so moving, I’m in the UK and had not heard about him, boy that made me cry, what a wonderful guy and such a sad, but inspirational story, thank you for sharing it. Angelo, it amazes me that you are so braze. I've traveled some by myself over the span of almost 74 years but there's no way I would have made that trip in the dead of winter by myself. So hats off to you. Thanks so very much for the beautiful sites you have shown us. Stay safe son, you are a long way from home. ❤
What a hero Terry Fox was, that was an amazing thing he did for cancer thank you for sharing his story to us americans who did not know his awesome story. My mom passed away on 2-1-24, due to an extremely rare breast cancer which she beat but a month later found out it also spread to her lungs and throughout the rest of her body. She fought a huge battle for almost 2 years. Cancer sucks! I really wish they would find a cure for it. Also, my mom watched your videos with me and thought you are a very handsome man. I do agree with her you're very handsome man! Thank you so much, Angelo, for vlogging videos for us. They do help me throughout my sadness and depressing days now. Be safe going back toward home. Much love to you. I also love seeing the beautiful views of beautiful parts of Ontario!

The road you are on @9:00 reminds me of the Seward Hwy. Mtns on the left, Cook Inlet on the right. There was a train track that also ran along between the Inlet & the road. In some spots, you could see Mountain Goats foraging along the lower areas & along the roadway. Luv ya: GRAM
R.I.P. Terry Fox! I'm not from Canada, I just read about him. He wanted the Marathon of Hope must continue, I hope it is. I've lost my uncles, aunts, two cousins to cancer. I'm glad you got to Pickle Lake, now. Safe Travels, Angelo.
