I guessed Mablethorpe from the entrance to the holiday village at the very start - though I've never been, so I needed the Trusthorpe sign to confirm that the bus was on its way south from there.
It would have been sometime in the late 1970's to 1980's, well before most people would be aware of computers let alone the internet and google was probably not even a twinkle in it's inventors eye!! I grew up in Nottingham and the Lincolnshire coast between Skegness and Mablethorpe was a regular day out excursion for us. Also, that apartment block on the promenade at trusthorpe was built by the old National Coal Board as a holiday and rehabilitation centre for miners from the midlands area. I believe some even retired there.@@busouting
Thanks, it might be because I didn't edit it using a video editor, it's straight from my phone. This is the raw capture, it's a shame I didn't finish the journey. Thank you for commenting
This does happen when the weather is warm, it's not the first time for my phone to overheat. It's frustrating 😔 but it's back working now. Thank you for watching and commenting
Here is the link to the full journey filmed in July 2024

If your comment was Mablethorpe towards Skegness it is correct. Hope to re-do the full journey in the future. Thank you for taking part 😀👍

Does anyone remember a shop called Noreen's Nougat on the corner where the Wild Goose and the chippy are now?
Not me. Just googled it but nothing comes up about it. Thank you for watching with attention to detail and commenting 🙂

This is where I needed a larger screen so I could read those roads signs and figure out where you were 😂😂😂😂😂
Try pausing the video to see if you can read the signs 😁
Hola amigo, Feliz Domingo. Que tengas un Maravilloso día👍
Gracias
I thought it was Mablethorpe. It confirmed it when I spotted the car and coach park just after Boyes.
Looks like you were heading back to Skeggy? Did the battery die?🤔
Unfortunately, the phone overheated and stopped recording, so I will have to re-do the journey on another day. Thank you for watching and commenting
At the end you've just left Hogsthorpe on Sea Lane. Is this significant in some way?
Thank you for watching and commenting. I wanted to see if viewers know the place 😊
The video it's so beautiful and clear.

Please comment with the location that you think this is from. I'll be updating this soon so I don't spoil the fun. Thank you all
Nice video. Shame your camera died. Hope you fixed it. 😀👍👍
