After seeing yorkshires lovely country side london is a tough sell. They keep the Chris's lights on for 24 hours because they have so much money it's easy to waste it in the north we are lucky to see them after dark keep up the good work

They still do that reverse turn at Ferry Lane, Fiskerton. Years ago, the lady in that house on the right as you reverse used to come out and moan about having the reversing horn on, a legal requirement.

Thanks for that great slice of nostalgia. I used to work at Lincoln bus garage and drove this route back in the days of RoadCar and Volvo B7 Vykings. I did all the "out of towners", like Scunthorpe, Grimsby , Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Grantham.

Frequently use xl to Wisbech sometimes usb chargers dont work and drivers are miserable but other than that ok

18:51-19:27 are the worst parts of the route, particularly if there are badly parked vehicles. I don't think this is necessary.

I did the final day of the Peak Sightseer bus yesterday; had a ride out to Castleton & walk up to Peveril Castle. Wore my knight costume at the castle & kept my coif on for the open top. Only one of the buses on each route was an open top; it was Scania 15717 on the blue route. Rode it through to Baslow then back out to Hathersage for a walk and a pint. 3 different buses; my outward journey was on normal Stagecoach bus 15829; my journey from Castleton was on the open top bus. Returned to Chesterfield on the Trident 18467 running off from the Red route.

Enjoyed the ride as always. But I'm again wondering about the street markings in the UK. Let's take the situation at 28:44. In my understanding this hatched middle lane should separate traffic but because of to the broken boundary lines can be entered if it's save to do so. Yet several cars are parked there so opposing traffic is forced to drive over the hatched area anyway. Isn't this making the (safety?) separation totally useless? Shouldn't parking be prohibited on that stretch of the road? Weird...

I really like Bradford; was up there a month ago and hope to go again between Christmas and New Year. Be good when they get the bus station at the Interchange open again. The latest I’ve heard is they hope to have it back by January, when it will have been closed for a year. Where is the temporary terminus for this route? I can’t recognise where it has stopped. There is a route between Bradford and Halifax via Queensbury which is rather nice.

I enjoy your videos so much that I stopped watching them on my PC and switehd to my 65 tv. Now, I feel I am there!
