The writers need to stop messing around and give Jack and Mel their happily ever after. Get that darn Charmaine out of the picture. The book was captivating and really good, without making Charmaine so toxic and such an obstacle.

I agree I have received reread the books a number of times. Charmaine from the book does excsist but is certainly not a pain like Charmaine in the series. It seems ridiculous not even doing a DNA in the book he was always very careful so no chance of him having problems like having twins. Charmaine hasn't showed at all that she is expecting anyway!! Ridiculous,
