Great video and a great indoor and outdoor course you've got there. Wish I had the space. I was really impressed by the Black Labels, I found they were great on the rocks, ok on the trail but really good in mud too. 👍
High percentage of actual tread contact + tread block size + tread blocks that aren't really deep + soft compound to form around the tiny surface texture = good tire, IMO, for exactly what your course is. Semi-smooth to smooth rock. Very nice! .... And glad to hear you're still lovin the Meus axles. :)
I have tried all the lgrp tires but this ones... grippers the better so far... love the injora hyrax type... will order the black label and see what's going on.. Never miss your videos... congrats!
Great comparison, Matt! I'm a sucker for any tires that resemble the Krawlers. That particular tread pattern does so well in my area; it's almost always my go-to.
Yeah my main reason of running the hair buns is because just how expensive the crawler Innovation foam is how far is the dual stage I think they're like $17 for two
I buy granite rip-rap for my crawler course. I just really like granite. What tires would be best for granite? Thanks for the video, it's funny how i mostly always would simply buy a tire for looks. Now I'm trying to go for performance.
I agree! I think I like the jcon compound a bit better. Feels like it’ll really break in well but I can’t complain with how these ran so it don’t really matter lol
Thanks for the video. I've been considering the Black Labels, I love the look - very similar to the BFGs on my full size Jeep! I wonder how those would perform with Flubbers for inserts...
On a vertical climb, grippiest tire I've tested. Even with a flub insert, found the Black Labels to push on a 500g truck, maybe on something lighter, but for a comp tire it's going to be a pass for me.
That’s actually got some links that I made on it. Same as this truck. I use some threaded rod off Amazon and scx rod ends. Just select the length rod you need & bend them as I want. Here’s the rod I use amzn.to/4btmbrq
Honestly I haven’t found anything that keeps up with my DJCRAWLER super soft pins. Night and day difference, but it’s just a whole another animal. All in what you’re looking for. I want to crawl, so I go with the crawlers.
Yeah the crawler pins are an awesome tire. I’ve had great luck with them and the price is hard to beat lol. I just like a little different look now and then.
I got those Jconcepts after your video on them. Put them on right away. I know it’s different for everybody, but they just didn’t have the grip. For general trail, sure. For anything that required actual traction, not so much. Keep bringing the great videos
@@bdog7262 dang man I hate to hear that! Tires are definitely the hardest thing to judge. So far I still really love them. You’re right though those djcrawlers are some of the best imo
tires... so extremely finicky and so dependent on terrain, climate, temperature, right weight distribution. but a good comparison which I felt both tires were comparable to each other. now if only the profile was a little less, still keeping the same size contact patch, and reducing the need for inserts, increasing sidewall compliance.
Let's go let's go call or Canyon turn me on to that and ever since he did get stuck I like the hair buns today especially in the rear end I don't run that much in the front end but on my bigger stuff like my rims that are 1.3 from Kyle Prophet-Designs I do run them all the way around also Kyle has his own insert for a few different tires now I love the megalithic tire but if you get it wet at all it's game over game over
Glad you test so many tires so we don't have to. Thanks for another great video

To me the black labels just win. They look better, come with 4 in a pack and are half the price.

They are for sure a good looking tire they seemed to perform well. Another incredible build like always 🙌

Would you pair these up with a TRX4M High trail?
Just got mine today! Can't wait to see how they do.
Matt, what power wagon body is that?
Nice! Thats a clear atlas 6x6 body I chopped up lol
Have you tried the LGRP 60mm or 62mm shocks?
I really like the size and look of the tire. I will have to order a set soon
Holy crap, that turning angle! Does MEUS make them for the FCX24?
No not yet
Awesome Matt just ordered and use your discount Code appreciate that on the black label tires cool
I didn't hear if you said the wheelbase of that
They look like they work ok
What links are on the bro co. And can you make more vids on it

I would hope so. 1/18th scale tire. Pass.
