Competitive programming teaches you how to write efficient code, or your program will just be slow or take a lot of memory. If Google's has written it's code without thinking about efficiency we won't be getting search results instantly
CONSISTENCY!!! That is what I have followed in my college. I understand and study every single day for almost 4 hours. During the exams It take me an hours to review the things. On the other side, my collogues was studying hardly and I was chilling out and playing games. In my job and daily life I have maintain the discipline of being consistent. You have mentioned very important things like "why did you start if you are quitting today".

Consistency sabse badi chiz hai inn sab chizo mai so, you need to understand the importance of consistency aap impossible things ko bhi possible kar skte ho bas chiye consistency aap ek acche aadmi ban skte ho bas u need to change your habit practise into daily life 365*4- 1460 days if you prepairing for anything you will crack it but uss se pehle change your mindset

@@johanliebert6859 First of all, you should look at the problems without any solution provided. Make sure you are trying to solve problems from easy to difficult level as this not only boosts motivation to solve problems but is a good approach. And stick to a problem for a certain amount of time, in other words have patience and try to solve. I hope this will solve your problem.

In my case I was not able to complete my syllabus because I spent a kots of times to learn coding. After 5 years of now I dont regret for it and I think I did the right thing. I was bot able to get good marks in my college, but my coding skills help me to get success in my life. I am now living a comfortable life and running my online business from my home.

My cousins too used to say that all the subjects we are taught in school are not useful in our future (subjects like: History,civics, geography,etc)
But i always say them that if you don't find anything interesting in any particular subject so it doesn't mean that it's useless, maybe for someone these subjects are building their core knowledge abt the profession they'll perceive in their future maybe one of your classmate wishes to become Historical Researcher....and the only thing you all have to do is change your perspective...
There's a quote: When you change your perspective looking on things the things begin to change ✨

I personally whenever feel why I am coding this, I straight up search on google why should we use it and where it is being used and what would happen if I dont use it. Then automatically I realise if I dont study that topic I cant do that stuff.
