Love this mouse. Was so sick and tired of scroll wheels on very expensive mice dying on me, but the optical scroll on this one handles like an absolute dream. Its been very good to me for the last year, and still scrolls like new!
Hi there fella. Was watching one of your old videos about the ps5 Joystick drift, And was wondering. Instead of replacing the whole Joystick itself. Is it possible to buy a Potentiometer and just replace that instead? Would help out a lot. If you can reply or make a video about it I would be much appreciated.
Yes it's much easier to just replace the potentiometers. Just have to get the same brand as the ones in the joystick. The alps and favor union are not interchangeable. It's very easy to find the alps replacement potentiometers. The favor union are harder to come by. I think can get both for Amazon or Ebay. Just make sure the listing give the value for the PS5. Should be like 2.1k for the alps and 2.3K for the favor union. If it doesn't give the value or says fits PS4 and PS5 those are probably 10K pots. Can just snap the potentiometer away from the joystick and with some small side cutters cut the leads off. Makes it very easy to remove the leads. A solder iron and a bit of desoldering braid will do the trick. I do need to do a video on it. Just have to find the time. Good luck.
