The event was actually designed for everyone to do it on Normal mode, they even recommend normal mode to everyone on the official event page. Ofc if your on Normal mode it will be harder, but anyone h1 and above should be able to melt Normal mode mobs with good set-up. So yea it's a really inclusive event, most are able to participate regardless of level, but end-game players way more likely to be interested in an event like this.
PC players definitely will have an edge. Also no need to run it on Inferno as player’s ranking is based on their paragon level, Hell for below 300 and Inferno for above 300. The game notes advise players to run it on normal. And yes those stairs!
Im going great overall in this event using a speed build just missing vithus to get longer lasting skills and the other green speed set forget the name. My issue is bad connection often lags me and the load screens
It definitely depends on server density too. I looked into another EU server and my time that ranked me 13th would have ranked me 3rd on their server. 🤣 We’ve just been screwed over where I am due to now having 11 servers merged. 🙃
The problem is lag. It's not the game teleporting you backwards. You see it a lot with Tempest dashes as well. They just need to fix the lag in general. The latency is ridiculous
When you see the teleport in slow motion, the arrow is pointing behind my character, despite positioning it forward, but the lag is definitely an issue too.
I feel I need to find the bug spray essence -.- ... so many bugs. I'm PC which didn't use to have a load/spawn-in lag until big June update. Also, a problem that has existed for a loooong time, at least for me, is so many times when there is a door to open, bestiary podium to activate, Armory closet, stash, etc. that once clicked, game wants to start you running off in another direction instead of opening/activating, causing you to have to go back and try again. That has been more of a hinderance than usual in these dungeon speed runs... mainly Cathedral so far. Also, there are rumors of the so-called "speed hack" being exploited in this speed run event, which gives unfair advantages to those cheating like that. And for those who try to rebut saying using an exploit to gain advantage over another isn't cheating... yes it is cheating, for it wasn't meant to be in the game and/or for that purpose of misuse.
Yes I’m aware of people using bug/exploits to skip through dungeons. I think it’s only possible to do on PC and I have no idea how people do it. Due to work I missed running one dungeon so my ranking for the event sucks now anyways. Waste of my time to continue trying for it tbh.

Yeah definitely not anything exciting that’s for sure. Our server is too overpopulated now, the time I got here would have made 2nd place on one of the other, less populated EU servers, so it’s kind of disappointing.
Oh and... those of us in Inferno are getting soooo many virtually worthless H1 greens lol Yes, with enough you can maybe trade-up at the 7:1 ratio to get 1x i1 wisp (or maybe even i2 wisp if you grind it hard enough) by the time this is all done and over with lol
P14, P3, P6, and P1 in Namari; total: 190 points 3rd so far Yes, the device is mandatory, my phone is a Poco F5 and performs much better than in my iPad tablet but to beat the whales I had to play in PC; my best time on iPad was 2:40 my best time in my Poco F5 pro was 2:38 my best time in my PC was 2:36

That teleport is aiming at monsters for some reason? My escape skill does the same to attack so i have to set direction myself. overall i dont hate the event but i think there are some exploits which players are using for better time.
There were no monsters when I aimed it the second time before leaving the dungeon. 🥲 It just doesn’t always aim correctly. This is one of the reasons I’ve not always put teleport in my PVP builds as it can sometimes do more damage than good. 🤣
I’ve hated that PC and the gaming mouse’s are allowed for a mobile app. I use my iPhone. Totally unfair all the way around. AND this even is totally buggy and worthless. This activity was a dud imo.
So many bugs in this event. There’s definitely advantages on PC, I’ve heard of a few exploits that can be used skip areas of the dungeons, but this isn’t possible on phone (although I personally don’t think it’s worth the risk anyway). Not only that, but I know so many people that work super hard and don’t have time to run both dungeons each day, and are behind in the leaderboard because others are able to play 24/7. Overall a pretty crappy event imo.
