If you're not into pvp...the game is just fine as a f2p player. Maybe doing guanlet is practically impossible for f2p but aside that, all pve content is accessible and enjoying as a f2p player. And just be a casual player....its a game not a job.

Yep. I only had one alt and believe me it was like a 2nd job to cap hidden lairs and rifts and so on... You don't pay then you'll be behind, simple as that.
@@RoyalClips78 my take wud be make all PvP event rewards gem power. It will make whales happy and f2p and mid spenders play more pvp content instent of giving us garbage rewards. Make sure theres auto detect for anyone idle wont get any reward.

I was perturbed when i got banned after 1 week of playing diablo. Without a reason why outside of policy violation, which i didnt do anything to violate. I think kids reported me for not keeping up with their more powerful builds in raids. I also play with controllers and have read some people get banned for controller use, which is weird because the game is setup for controllers. Im using official PS5 and PS4 controllers, not modded ones.
You won't get banned because for not keeping up that's for sure :) the only other reasonable explanation is the controller, i heard the same, people use a mod or smtn to attack and go afk so they farm xp.

Well, Im getting fed up of lag more than their ludicrous p2w bank acount pick pocketing business model. But I also stopped with most pvp bcz it's silly for a 1.5k or 3K res player going up against 10K and 12K whales. This matchmaking isnt fun for anyone. Lag/rubberbanding used to be just in bg and old style shadow war. Then it started in raids. I even bought a new device thinking that was the problem. Nope. Now lag is an issue everywhere. It's Blizzard's held together by bubblegum and shoestring servers to go along with NetEase's Spaghetti Coding. And an IDGAF attitude. The whole game is barely playable. I lag just walking around Westmarch. And the app has ballooned to nearly 30 gb on 1 device while only 20 gb on another. 10 gbs of crap code stuck on my device!!! Repair used to fix excess app size but now, even that doesn't work. In theory, it's a fun game. But the execution, combined with the predatory loot box practises... it's gotten so old. Blizz is just milking the community, they dont really care. I'd love to find another game to play. You mention plenty of other f2p games. What are they? Please list 5.
I know the feeling! Best word you said was "Predatory" because it is. Also i play on PC and in some cases on mobile but mostly PC and that makes a big difference of which games are available. Well to be honest, All F2P games need to make money somehow and use P2W concepts except one; the only real F2P ARPG game that i played is Path of Exile since its launch 11 years ago, i play it on and off all you need is your skills. They make money selling stash tabs and SHIT load of cosmetics. There are other F2P games with P2W having less impact on the player and in some cases very minimal. It's always better to BUY a game that doesn't have P2W. Other than Path of exiles there's: 1.Wuthering Waves: enjoying the gameplay and combat, has Geisha system but my nephew got 3 S tier characters as F2P in his first couple of days and some cool weapons. (new) 2.Once Human: MMO Survival, also enjoying it with huge player base and very smooth gameplay. (new) 3.Tarisland (no p2w but not a game to grind all the time like DI) (new) 4.Eternium nice game as well so far no DLC on steam but problem is it's not MMO yet 5.Guild Wars 2 (I bought the game when it launched now it's F2P) These are just games you could enjoy without feeling the hammer fall on your head like stupid Diablo Immortal. and there's a lot more but that i haven't tried. I'm waiting for upcoming WoW expansion, Throne & Liberty, and some others. Hope this helped.
I don't know about ur server but on mine I make about 30-40k plat a week plenty to f2p, and this is while the market is deflated, but I mostly agree in PvP u will never catch up it's not just resonance secondary stats are arguably more important then reso and are mostly time gated, you can get a few here and there from AH but mostly the good gems are always sold out.
I was on Peace Warders server I'm not sure about the prices now cause I quit right after that patch, I think it was 12th June. But all good gems were at max of 64k if u even find it and that's 2/5 and to use as copies hehe. In 8 months I made total 1.5mil platinum which is close to ur numbers :)
How do you do to make so many platinum, with the current market where almost everything is at a all time low ? Selling pets? Selling normal gems coming from alts? Genuinely curious...

I respect what you're going for, but 1, p2w only applies to pvp, 2, the partners aren't paid by blizzease to get ppl to play. They do it for the love of the game. 3, this game is not dying. Server merges are not signs of a dying game, just dying\unpopulated servers. I've been playing since day 1, and I still all the enjoyment from it. Granted bg are pretty screwed all around, but outside of that, it's fine. Great, in fact (market notwithstanding these days).
Game is sure fun it's why i made this channel at first, pve is affected as follows: when you're 1-2k higher you can easily do the higher difficulty content from raids and dungeons and farm greens, you can easily rank in challenge rifts as well and do 10 lvls higher, no one said partners get paid :)
@Royaltertainment dude, pve is the easiest thing to do in the game. You seem to be talking about being much higher cr then necessary to accomplish tasks at hand. Yes, dungeons require a bit more cr then owf, but not that much. Raids are designed to be more challenging then farming at the appropriate lvls.

I have an alt with maybe 600 reso. It can run all content and help is provided from many if not. If pve is ur thing and bg isn’t, who cares how hard it is. The harder the better, but not impossible. And if u do like bg.. skill actually matters. If ur good it goes a long way. Reso like i have been told doesnt hold much value really. Its a dmg/life boost. That’s it. Secondary gems are free to get daily and are the true power houses. Hate to say it but sounds like you were hoping for candy crush but got tetris. Go play d4 lol.
I understand where you're coming from... but 1-2k difference in reso also affects pve in the following: whenever a new difficulty opens higher reso are able to farm its dungeons and be waaaay ahead. I was in inf5 for a while while ppl were farming inf6 i used to get 1-shot and it's not fun. Also when lvling gems don't forget the CR you get even if in hundreds. My alt made me 500K platinum as u can see in the video and i was 1.9k on my main i also do both pve and pvp. Well I already quit. Also i have D4 it sux... I'm currently playing Path of Exile new league, now thats a real game with only skills required.

I got banned for multiple accounts farming platinum with those, blizzard cannot qccept to get stronger w/o paying them, i hope the worst to them

what Blizzard no open new server for new players?
They are closing servers because not enough players on each server, but new players can join any available server so you're fine.

Blizzard has made this game bad. Not netease. Netease gives much more back to their players. Gotta imagine their frustrations are half of ours.
