Hi, my radio makes a noise when key is off, it sounds like a very small fan. It drains the battery. Do you know what it may be?
Yes, I have a 2007 MDX, with the battery drainage, a friend of mines solve the problem, but didn't explain wh a t he did. Sometimes I will hear rumbling mouse under dashboard, but for now (1 ,ye a r) mo issues, just the noise.
Find the fuse for the BLUETOOTH and remove it.

@@beverlyjohnson8251 That noise is most likely the air mix motor - google acura mdx air mix motor - might need to be removed , cleaned and replaced

I'm getting a Nav receiver error 1303........so the troubleshooting guide says to replace the Nav unit. Can this be fixed? There aren't any replacements kicking around that I've seen other than e-bay untested and not guaranteed.
Thx for the vid! My wife jammed 2 dvd in the player and now im trying to get them out. Any recommendations?
You need to remove the whole unit then disassemble the DVD mechanism in order to get them out.
Sounds stupid but smack the lower right hand side of the unit hard several times.
Mine was jammed up and I couldn't get it to eject or play anything until I read that tip somewhere and tried it.
Beats removing it and taking it all apart.
That was a month ago and it's still working fine.
Ive got a parasitic power drain coming from this unit in my car. Have you had any experience with that, is it something you can fix or something that requires replacement of the unit?
U sure it's not the bluetooth module? You might have to pull the radio fuse

I have 2009 MDX and my navigation and radio keeps restarting over and over again simultaneously, I took it to Acura they didn’t touch it just suggested replacing the entire unit I been trying to find someone who can do it. What do you recommend
Just send your radio/cd player in the dash for repair. Or find a service center close to you.
is it possible to replace just the DVD drive?

Yeah I'm in the same boat with the coins in the cd load/unload slot. I'm hoping I can just take the entertainment/ navigation module apart to get to the cd changer and unjam everything. Will post an update.
was this issue fixed, i think my son also put coins in my car DVD player - how did you fix iit?
I took the whole CD changer apart. I was able to get the CDs and the coins out, but it still says it is loaded with all 6 disks. So I was able to recover the CDs but wasn't able to fix the CD changer.
Do you know where is the hdd in this car?
2009 MDX does not have HDD, it has a navigation DVD player under the seat.
That isn't the nav cd player location.
