that was a great tutorial. I am a cake decorator and just getting into "real" looking flowers as an option over real flowers....thank you for your demo. It was great.
I have also made these in yellow, and a brown center for a black eyed susan look, and I bought a few different sizes to have larger ones to look like a sunflower, obviosly not that large but the effect is the same. Glenda, you shoujd do some more videos you are wonderful, thank you!
thank you the video, really well done. I am just learning & this video explains plain & simple. I just wish all the cutters are so hard to find, at least here in Winnipeg. Thanks again, very informative
dear Glenda ,pardon my ignorance ,but i heard that went you serve the cake you have to take out the fondant, ,i never try before we do have to take it out??,and what that mind CMC, thank you again!! but i just started in this wonderful world of the decoration and i really love it.
dear Glenda i like to know if gum paste is the same us a fondat, recently i started my cke decoration with the fondant and i think thats the same i dont know please please let me know because i really love daisies and i love to do this one, thank you!!! and God bless for your talent, thanks
I couldnt find such a large daisy cutter but I used a 8 petal cutter, and it looks quite pretty... I couldnt find gum glue either but used a little water on the back of the centre, it seems to be sticking... will that be ok in your opinion. Also, how do you stop the gum paste sticking in the mould for the centre of the daisy, i used corn flower...
@MsCoolrose I'e bought a few cake decorating books and at the beginning they all have a full, comprehensive list of all the tools you would need for this and more!!!
hi, i like so much ,what is the name of cutter? and where is gum past ? i ,am looking gum past powder , ices powder , i want make in home can you gives us store name? thanks
That daisy is really beautiful, but... what do you do with it after you eat the cake? you can eat the flower too? I think that kind of decorating is a little useless... sorry, but is true
it's very nice, but i can't understand, why take powder to the flower's center. i think it is nicer white, because with powder it looks like a dirty flower. it really looks like a live flower, but the video's name is "cake decorating". i think a cake don't have to be dirty :P
