When I started to backpack a few years ago I found your channel. I learned a lot from you and I love seeing your adventures on the PCT! Can’t wait to see you in the Sierra. It’s absolutely breathtaking and unforgiving at the same time.
Love the videos Frozen! Could you add one element to some of your videos? I’d love to see a Timelapse of a few miles of the trail. Just record for an hr or so, then speed it up so we can see the actual trail. Your vids are still great nonetheless! If you need anything when you get the to the Tahoe area let me know. I’m in Reno and could give you rides, place to crash, whatever you need.
You gonna pack out the extra battery banks too? 😉 Cool as that would be, I suspect it's quite a power drain. Always wondered if the vloggers who do it reserve it for shortly before a town stop, when they don't need to worry about preserving their remaining batteries anymore.

Nutella is great, just don’t eat too much😉
On the AT I got a small jar of peanut butter, scooped out the center and added Nutella, trail mix, and m-n-m”s. It literally was a never ending snack; as I kept adding to the mix.

That climb back to the trail looked tuff and steep. I hate going over rocks, especially loose rocks on a hike because it just takes one wrong step. Be safe out there and continue making good choices for your hike!!

Great going man, keep the "purist" spirit. I generally unsubscribe hikers that keep skipping and taking the easy way. Not you...BTW, I hope you hike Baden Powell, another favorite "skip" zone. At least one couple I'm following did it with no problem. See you down the trail.
Well hopefully you don't unsubscribe from me. But I road walked Baden Powell. Bad info and fear mongering. I plan on coming back for the 10.9 I missed.

Gore-go-neo. San Gorgonio is the highest peak in Southern California. You won't go up there in this hike but you're in the area. There's a hiking couple originally from the Netherlands. He had some MRI's from the Netherlands Marine Corps. So good. His trail name is Beacon, Jan is his name. He's with his wife. Super nice people. I'm sure you'll catch up with them.
Purism (a Purist) is perfectly appropriate for the AT but not much elsewhere. Let it go. You'll find it easier on the brain.

There is a discernable trail for majority of it but no paint on trees every 10 ft like the A.T. thankfully.
