The Kardashian episode where they all dress up as each other is so iconic. I think the You Can Sit With Us crew doing TikToks where you dress up as each other at the office would be hilarious
I also remember thinking this Candid Competition is insanely ridiculous and hilarious but still went down the rabbit hole of binging the entire series lol
Love this idea!!! Will there be future interview type of convo with other Try Teams members/ guests who were included in videos too? Maybe Rosanna,or Kwesi or JonnyCakes? 🤩🤩
So......honestly, Miles, Sarah, (and all the other past hilarious ppl like the finance girlie (im so sorry i forget her name off the top of my head but i loooved her episode), Rachel, Desiree, Kaylin....theyre all so entertaining that I WISH they all sat together much more regularly to fill in the gap that Ariel left. Just seeing Miles be so natural in this podcast bc hes used to it, I would love to see some of the other people mentioned get experience on the podcast so we can have great conversations like in today's ep. Also I'm curious why YB hasn't been a guest yet. She was on the Asian female-led episode but not one where we get to know YB with the gals. Love YB
I think yb has been working at home for a good while, she does some "ny day" vlogs so I think she just prioritizes being in other videos when she is actually in the office
Ah okay I didn't know YB prefers working from home! I have seen some of her personal YT vids. She's so awesome. Still think she should be a guest sometime!
This may be a bit silly -- but I loved the fun approach in the history segment! History used to be my least favourite subject in high school, because there's such a focus on political rulers and the elite parts of society. But humans have been the same species throughout history -- it's not the sanitized, boring version we teach in high school. Studying history is basically just studying old gossip from legal documents and court proceedings, trying to understand how the culture of the time influenced people of the past and their actions, how they reacted to politics, what they did in their everyday lives. So, thank you, Miles for bringing up that we need to start seeing people of the past as the silly gossips they were! Also, as an MA art history student, I loved that Rainie brought up the polychrome of Ancient Greek and Roman sculptures! Our long-held beliefs that they were pure white was just fabrication, justifying the colonial beliefs about "civilized" cultures vs. "primitive" ones. Repeating this belief throughout the last few hundred years of writing history just perpetuated white supremacy. When actually, the sculptures were colourful and golden -- more on the gaudy and tacky side of things, instead of this pure, sanitized image Western history tried to construct in its origin myth! All of this is actually super important in studying history right now, as enrollment and graduation from history majors is dropping, which can have dire consequences for a population. Humanities and Arts degrees really hone people's research and critical thinking skills. History also teaches us what kinds of tools were used for political propaganda and helps us predict what kinds of oppressive beliefs may crop back up, depending on what our present-day political landscape looks like! So, thank you for making history silly! I really do think studying history through pop culture makes a huge difference in keeping students' interest! :)
I like going to drive-thrus and telling the person at the place to give me either their favorite drink or their favorite meal, or the least ordered item on the menu. Or, in a sit-down restaurant, I'll point to a certain section of the menu and ask my server to surprise me. It's always a fun time. I get to try things that I never would have picked otherwise.
Also yes to having that same Challenge phys ed class in Illinois but at my HS it was called Adventure Ed! Canoes, climbing, rapelling, team skills stuff like untying the human knot and more!
Omg Becky, I knew you grew up in IL, but didn’t know where and then you mention Challenge Ed and I was like no way! I went to Sandburg and had the same gym class! Small world!
It’s really funny finding out through this episode that Becky attended the same high school as me and my siblings. And was there the same years as one of them all because she brought up Challenge Class.
And Thai Union then bought them from Golden Gate just a few years ago! Not sure if that happened before or after the Candid Competition video was filmed.
I wanna know what the YCSWU Squad is called within the company based on this pod. Are y'all freelance but expected to make weekly content? Interested in knowing more. Do y'all get paid or just do this to be supportive?
Lol this comment is amazing and made me smile. Always fun to find little comments like this from a fellow ARMY in the most unexpected places. Thank you!
Yea I agree with the comment about Ariel giving an official statement .I think it would be disrespectful to her if they removed her name due to the whole Ned cheating situation
Hey friends! Can I possibly draw your attention to the YOU CAN SIT WITH US in the header in the dropdown menu? It might be time to update the description there :) All the best to ya! This pod is my guilty pleasure
In order to graduate from high school I had to get one last gym credit second semester of senior year (shout out theatre kids) so I took ONLINE BOWLING via BYU. lmaoooo
Wonder if they’re still in contact with Ariel? It’s been a while since the incident - hope they’re all still friends and she’s doing well with the kids! 😢
oh I'm sure they still talk to her. theres no way...theyre like sisters at this point. and ariel and the ladies did nothing wrong. I miss Ariel on the podcast so much = (((((. She brought such a good dynamic. I didn't realize it til she was gone. sad
The amount of friends I have who have been relatively close to their guidance counselors throughout college and were not told they needed to take 1 to 2 extra courses until they were ready to sign a bunch of papers for graduation….🥲🥲🥲🥲
I can’t believe it’s taken this long to get miles in the hot seat
I love how fond Maggie's voice and face is during this video. She's so proud and happy for Zach and his creative projects.
When the final video of Maggie’s and Zach’s wedding came out, I was watching it while I got ready for my proposal (not knowing that was happening)
Congrats on your engagement! That’s such a sweet coincidence!
that's insane oh my god congrats! also such a funny story and association now for your engagement haha
oh my god congrats!!!! that is the best story to have when you talk about the day of your proposal!!
that's adorable omg! and congratulations :)!!!
i like to think that maggie and sarah are a happily married lesbian couple in the candid competition universe
I thought they were also playing newlyweds and was just wondering what the other two were doing at first lmao
We need more candid competition! Maybe they can see what happens when a Thrupple (Zack, Miles, and Maggie) tries to do things
@@alexakelley2353 Miles mentioned that Zack is working on a new season
@@cristianm4208 yea I just got to that part of the video lol oops that my bad… should’ve watched before i commented
What if we made it a Quadrouple with Zaggie and Siles?
I’m so down for this 😂
@@dannimalsholderbro lol yess!!! 😂
I love Candid Competiton! It's definitely my favorite, never fails to give me a good belly laugh. Zach and Milles have the best dynamic.

Miles and Becky banting is top tier

Omg we need a podcast with JonnyCakes on it!
Omg! It would be so much fun to have Jonny Cakes on YCSWU!
And Jonny cakes was just on!

YB prefers to work from home. She lives about an hour from the office. YB has her own channel and she has been planning her wedding.
Ah okay I didn't know YB prefers working from home! I have seen some of her personal YT vids. She's so awesome. Still think she should be a guest sometime!
Thank you for the good Tuesday vibes, love to see Miles in the main shot 💕😂
Now we get two miles podcasts back to back perfect person comes out tomorrow! Sun is shining and life os good ❤
Miles, thank you so much for mentioning The Earliest Show. Never heard of it before, but am binge watching and LOVING it!

This was such a lovely episode to listen to. I enjoyed the whole conversation tremendously!
Whoever did this thumbnail with this title deserves a raise
I want a Candid Competition episode where both Maggie and goth Miles are like “wtf Zach?”

Been on the edge of my seat waiting for Candid Competition the movie!!!!
i'm a candid competition girlie always so I'M ALIIIIIVEEEE
they did the kayak off the high board at my High School too!! Must be an Illinois thing.
Any idea what book Miles is talking about 40:30? Would love to read it!
Me too!
Tomato paste also comes in tubes, check those out!

this was such a fun episode
Me: listening to this podcast confused thinking I'm following a fake TikTok account for this pod
Miles at the end: you know it's live, right?
Also yes to having that same Challenge phys ed class in Illinois but at my HS it was called Adventure Ed! Canoes, climbing, rapelling, team skills stuff like untying the human knot and more!
already looking forward to this!

One of my favorite episodes 😂 especially the cringe convo lol.
Can’t wait for more Candid Competition!
I NEED LATE NIGHT RAINIE TALK SOHW
Seriously, this feels so refreshing and it brightens up my day and mood! Thank you ❤
Yes! I love this podcast!
Miles pronouncing plebs wrong is so funny to me I forget that’s a British word lol
What a fun episode 😂
Marching band practice is running around a field for two hours three days a week while exhaling the whole time. I was never more fit!
miles was featured on bbc radio 1 - he’s deff going vi
they should do funerals for candid competition
I doubt they'll do anything that doesn't involve a chain for reasons mentioned in the beginning of the pod.
A funeral themed video would be neat, but not for candid competition. I feel like pretending someone died would cause a commotion
That picture of Zack over Matt's shoulder is TERRIFYING
It’s really funny finding out through this episode that Becky attended the same high school as me and my siblings. And was there the same years as one of them all because she brought up Challenge Class.
becky makes a mm sound after every other sentence LOL i wonder if she’s ever noticed
I need a video of Becky showing off her badminton baddy skillz
Darden actually no longer owns Red Lobster. They sold to another company, golden gate years ago!
I'm pretty sure they get paid something. This weekly podcast has been around since 2020. That would be a lot of hours to work for free!
this is work.
They are considered freelance or independent contractors. They've mentioned it briefly before.
I loved this ❤
I’m watching because Miles was in the thumbnail 💜
is the video with Maggie and Sarah in Candid Competition released? Or it an upcoming release? :o
It's the honeymoon suite video!

OMGGG I feel so special that Jasper the doll follows me on tiktok 😭🤣 but the girl who runs it is actually 22!
Hey! I don't know if this will be seen, but wanted to let you guys know your description needs updated! It still says Maggie, Becky, and Ariel.
I'm sure they know. They are not going to remove Ariel's name unless she makes an official statement
Yea I agree with the comment about Ariel giving an official statement .I think it would be disrespectful to her if they removed her name due to the whole Ned cheating situation
I feel like I saw this yesterday?
I want you guys to know i start twerking every time I hear the opening tune.
Laughing in Canadian at the pronunciation of 'badminton'
Olive Garden and Red Lobster no longer share The Darden Group company…nbd I worked at Olive Garden straight out of high school :)
Hahaha love the title
Goth Miles should be Giles!
i feel rainie, my greek myth course was SO HARD, our prof literally knew greek & latin
Hey friends! Can I possibly draw your attention to the YOU CAN SIT WITH US in the header in the dropdown menu? It might be time to update the description there :) All the best to ya! This pod is my guilty pleasure
New fave ep ❤
I’m team miles he’s so wholesome
The women behind Jasper the doll is 22 not 15
The first time I saw Miles was when Zach proposed and I legit thought he was goth.
In order to graduate from high school I had to get one last gym credit second semester of senior year (shout out theatre kids) so I took ONLINE BOWLING via BYU. lmaoooo
Online bowling sounds incredible lol
