- Captain Bean ventures off to the Dominican Republic with Astrid to celebrate her birthday. They reunite with Jay Alou & Juan Carlos to go deep sea fishing in Punta Cana and they target Astrid's first Blue Marlin. They fish on the "Tomahawk" and the "Lady Lola." They do a lot of epic fishing on both boats.

We stayed at an Airbnb and the boat is not technically a charter boat. There are so many charters though if you call the Marina Cap Cana, they will hook you up.

Do your friends have a charter? My husband and I will be going down to Punta Cana and want to book a good charter.
They actually don’t charter the boat but if you call the marina, Cap Cana, they’ll be able to provide a whole list of charter captains there.

Great video guys! I am headed to Punta Cana this week and looking for a charter I can trust. What time of year is the Marlin fishing good there? I don't mind paying for a good charter, but don't want to fish the wrong time of year. How is the bottom/wreck fishing there? I would like to jig for Amberjacks, or catch some big Grouper if that's a possibility.
The sandman is a pretty popular one but not sure on availability! I think it’s pretty year round but we’re not 100%
How far offshore do you need to go for blue marlin?
Something called the “fads” and I’m not sure how far but it takes a while to get to those spots in Punta Cana.
Going to PC for Thanksgiving. Any tips?
Make sure you book someone that will take you out to the fads!
What do they do with the Mahi that you catch?
Eat it!

Usually its a couple thousand depending on who you choose
