Soooooo lets strap on a 7000 Penn conventional reel to a bean pole. I am pretty sure I could strap that reel on a piece of bamboo stick and it would perform the same way! Its not the rod bro its 100% the reel.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. But it does make for great video to people that nothing about fishing!😂😂😂. Carry on Bean carry on!🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😎

I didn’t know you could fly fish in the ocean that’s awesome I’ve only ever seen it in rivers. Riley was killing it for his first time tuna fishing and the mahi mahi were a nice treat too congrats. Hope you and Astrid stay safe during Milton my parents live in port charlotte so they evacuated to my brothers near Orlando just hope their house doesn’t flood. I was on a 10 day cruise on a private 65’ super CAT last year in BVI and caught Blackfin tuna until my arms fell off. It was crazy when I saw them blowing up on the surface. I seriously caught 30-40 fish in a matter of an hr. I was using a 4000 Shimano Stradic reel on a 7’ Savage Gear Battle Tek rod with a Mirrodine top water lure. It was non stop action for over an hour! We had tuna to eat for days.😎
