Hi Josh & Nat another cool vid guy's, when you pulled out of petrol station saw your fuel prices wow,, aud 144 a litre i guess ? over here UK works out aud 265 a litre not so bad filling a bike but when i have to fill my truck it's painfull hehe, Don't hate me but after all the choices of bikes out there i have put a deposit down on a little CRF300L, got to start somewhere, at least i should still be able to ride in the winter, wont be doing that on my sports bike, ATB Wayne UK...........
Nothing wrong with that bike choice mate 👌 Yeah $1.44 /litre but the good stuff is around 1.70-1.80 still pretty cheap compared to yours tho! Cheers

We’re gonna have to give the lithium batter a shot. I really wish somebody would make a aftermarket switch that would just break the connection with the ABS sensors.
Don't spend the money on a lithium battery purely based on what I heard on the interwebs mate, in case you didn't notice a lot of people talk shit they know nothing about. Having said that, lithium is a great easy way to save a couple of kg on any bike, I have one in the T7 👌

You both continue to upgrade your skills, confidence & abilities on the big bikes! No choice with little enduros gone. Wouldn’t be surprised to see you considering a suspension upgrade for the T7 in the future if you keep this up. That sorta stuff starts revealing its limits pretty quick.
Changing out the fork oil has made a world of difference, the rear is the main bottomer outer (if that's a word) now, even with the preload maxed. But yeah upgrades would be nice. Thanks mate ✌

You guys have the best single trail riding for the big bikes. Great fun as always the bike setups look very good. I wish I knew how the get my GoPro audio as quite and clear as yours. All I have is wind noise above 30-40km/h even using a wind sock on the mic in the helmet.

Nelson Rigg Trail's End tank bag it's mint for the price 👌 Still running Goldentyre GT723 tyres they are great, about 3k KMs on them now front still good rear has about another 1k in it

I was watching you two go through the creek trail and was thinking that looks familiar but in reverse maybe, then you were going up and down a couple of hill.
Now i've definitely been on those hills , then what do ya know you mention me going the wrong way haha. The next bit where you were flying over the erosion bumps was pretty fun coming down too. Funny how as soon as you said you might have to go past the 390 , that the revs picked up instantly 37:20 ...haha brilliant , she's killing it .

Hello Nat and Josh, WOW! The single track riding was just bloody amazing, well done to each of you! Just a question, when you are out, do you pack some essentials like a First Aid Kit, a small fold up shovel? I know you carry food and drink which is great...OK love the Vid, great fun, keep safe....its bloody cold and pissing down here....David...Adelaide....Tiger 900GT....
Yeah we carry a tool kit which is tied onto the back of Josh's bike and it also has a first aid kit in it too.

I find that if you restart the 390 immediately the MTC stays off sometimes. Not every time but as it happened with Nat in this video. Which may explain what you said Josh about the voltage drop? I wonder how that can be overcome???

Yeah not sure why they haven't made one of those dongle things you can get for the bigger KTM's that keep the settings 👎
Could be that the ktm as a fuse for the traction control? re-route that wire to a button to switch on and off, that would be worth it to check if you don't have already
I'd just pull the MTC fuse and throw it in the bin if there is such a thing (if it were my bike) it's a pain in the ass on the road as well as off. Not sure if there is a separate fuse for it tho might be worth looking into
@@MVDBR yeah i was looking into the 2020 owners manual for the 390 adv and in chapter 16, page 212 (i think, i'm looking for it in pdf format) it shows the fuses layout, i guess number 7 is the one you're looking for, but mind you, i don't own one, and have no idea if that is the right one or would even work

Or maybe changing the sprocket with 1 teeth less ? (Not sur if the 390 will be ok for the road then)
The stalling is human error, clutch cable and not hydraulic lol and sore hands, it's not the bike, not this time

@@MVDBR Just got back from a ride to the tip unfortunately we considered it to much for my talent and the bike made it to about 40k past Musgrave Station 500k to the top decided to turn around and head back still managed about 1700k of dirt and had a ball.

Didn't specifically test ride any others, but after fairly extensive research and review watching I was already sold on the T7 mate 👌

Probably stick with Goldentyre mate if I can get one, rear rubber is hard to come by at the minute 😬
@@MVDBR if you cannot get a GT ( I have one on my 660 ) try a Dessert HT Motoz- for the riding you do they stick like 👍 shit to a blanket. Only problem is noisy on road and will be spent in around 3000kms .. I know you had a Rallz - the Desert HT is better off road traction.

@@MVDBR , I know you like the GoldenTyres , ( I’m using the 723 on the rear of one of my bikes ) just saying incase you cannot get one maybe 🤔 give the desert HT a go and see what you reckon. I’m still a MASSIVE fan of the Pirelli MT21 Rallycross front as well . 12,000kms out of last front “ I reckon it’s perfect in almost terrain “ . But do understand tyres are a “ matter of the heart ❤️ choice “😂😂😂

There maybe some truth behind the battery thing in regards to traction control but I got a new AGM battery ( Lithium battery was crap for weather starting ) for my 1090 and I've noticed when I either stall or turn off the kill switch ( not the ignition ) I don't have to stuff around turning traction control off. Traction control stays off unless I turn the key off for me now 🤷♂️
There's a dongle you can get for the 1090 isn't there that keeps the settings?
@@MVDBR yes, but it seems a battery alleviates the need for a dongle which throws up " false " warnings. New Battery for the win basically it seems I've found. If I bought the dongle I would always have that warning triangle flashing up on my dash thingy which can or will hide other vital warnings like high engine temps, low coolant etc
Is the dongle not an official KTM product? I thought it was 🤔 Glad yours is sorted tho maybe AGM is the way to go
@@MVDBR Not sure about the dongle, that'd be a Jessie Question, but I with the battery, it's just a case of having a near 100 % battery all the time, or it's just some random glitch 🤷♂️
