Thanks so much for this video . I really loved the part of never giving up . I applied 2 times and I got rejected . I applied for the third time and also applied for sonography as a plan B. I just got accepted and I start on August. I’m kind of nervous because I really struggle with the study part by I’ll stay positive. I wish you the best of luck!
@@alaynaholguin6089 I got A’s and B’s for the pre requisites . But the community college I was going was so competitive. I had few C’s on other classes I took for my associate in arts . But I got tired of them ,because they made me take few classes I didn’t even need . Also , no , they never stated why I was rejected. I was glad I moved to another college. The new one took all my A’s and B’s an that also boost my GPA
@@alaynaholguin6089 no worries . A’s and B’s are perfectly fine .I just had bad experience with my first college because they are not that good. I’m in the state of Florida and they accepted 50 students . They mainly picked students with 3.6 gpa and up. Also they picked the ones that finished all the pre requisites. Trust me . You’ll be fine. What state are you in and how many pre requs do you have to take ?
@@maidelisr I have 11 pre reqs (5 for the actual program) and then the rest are general Ed and they are only accepting 20 students at my community college

I’m a dental assistant about to apply to the DH program, but I left my dental assisting job because it was too much and now I’m wondering how I get a recommendation letter since I won’t be getting one from my employer , what will be a good alternative for the recommendation letter?
I applied to a community college which offered an Associate degree in dental hygiene and I applied to a Bachelor's program. I got accepted to the bachelors program. In short you can apply to either institution the only difference is a few classes.

You can possibly receive a recommendation letter from a hygienist at your former job or a professor from school.
