I so love all your tutorials! I’ve been beading for 4 years now and always want to find new ways to finish off my earrings. And I am going to try this. Although I haven’t had any of my earrings hooks fall off yet but this is an awesome idea... thanks girl!
You could also sew a jump ring on and just tack around it very well then attach the hook ear ring .... you can also buy earring posts with holes so it can be sewn on I like sewing the jumping on the best they last forever ..sinew is best I use it for leather earrings I make as well
You can also buy "closed" jump rings. I use them so the thread, wire, or hooks don't slip out of them. You can just stitch them into your beaded work and them attach the clasp with a jump ring.
@@LBadoni thanks! Also where do you buy your feathers? We dont really have good craft stores in Canada...Michaels and dollarstores, other native craft stores like 2 hrs away from me ugh 🙄l ol
@@LBadoni thanks! I see some that look nice on ali express. I just like seeing things in person before buying but our craft stores suck around here lol
an even cleaner look is a wire guardian. I use them in place of making beaded loops for earrings hooks on a majority of my brickstitch/peyote earrings. www.beadalon.com/findings/wire_guardians.asp
Wow....young lady you know all the beading tricks and make such beautiful work. Keep beading.
This just saved my earrings 🙏 ♥️

Try using wire guardians. The are awesome for this type of thing.
"ouch. ouch. ouch" XD
I’m a beginner, and I really enjoy watching your videos, but was wondering what kind and size needle do you use?
Wire guardians are the best
Do you get your cabochons/middle gems from the same stores you listed above?
Beadededgesupply.com has some gems. But I mostly buy them locally.

I bought them at a local trading post. But I'll look into what I can find online and when I make the video I'll leave the links to them.
