I have about 100 pieces of American brilliant cut glass. It’s tricky looking for quality pieces. Lots of crap in that industry.
Today I just picked up a cider pitcher. Perfect and high quality.

Thanks, super interesting to see the difference between generic and more unusual patterns. Do you think British cut glass will ever be back in fashion?

I think the standard stuff may never come back. I think people like stuff that is associated with a period but a lot of 20th century cut glass is just 20th century cut glass, it's not art Nouveau, art deco, post modern, mid century, it's just 20th century. I could qualify this in that I think some people are buying uranium glass regardless of what type it is, and potentially some people might want that for 20th century cut glass in the same way.

i had a waterford crystal glass jug i put it auction it was estimated at 30 - 50 quid it sold for 14 pound 😂 i paid 6 quid for it ive been watching too much bargain hunt

I have recently been told that the glow has gone off for Waterford. I don't know how true that is though.
