I think one has to watch ALL the testimony otherwise you might miss how often AH is caught out lying. She cant even tell the truth about keeping the 7 million dollars even when it's so clear she kept it. I would take 95% of what AH says with a grain of salt. Her sister is a pathological liar like her AH. In fact that crew of AH freeloaders have got their stories straight. It's appalling to watch. Its like watching someone kick a puppy. I O is trans too. So much of what heather is saying is incorrect. The friends have to stick with the story bc this is what they went on record to say in her divorce. They have been deposed for the divorce and the trail in UK. So if they change their story they could be in trouble for perjury.
Totally agree. There is something not quite right with all of their testimony. I'm not sure if AH has something on Rocky or if it's just the fact that they were friends during her original deposition and now she regrets what she said but can't retract without getting into trouble. It is extremely rare to be prosecuted for civil perjury. It almost NEVER happens. It’s a waste of the courts time and taxpayer money. Unless you’re testifying in a CRIMINAL case and perjure yourself there is almost ZERO chance of anyone coming for you.

It's called the forgotten offense bc it's so rarely prosecuted...however, if the jury believes a witness knowingly lied under oath, then they can disregard their entire testimony bc they aren't deemed credible. This was a huge factor in Casey Anthony getting off bc her dad lied about having an affair and the jury disregarded his testimony.

Yes! I worked at a place that employed 30K people. In my career, I worked with some people, sometimes 2 or 3 different times. We would move programs (C-130, F-16, simulators, etc.) every 3 or 4 years. With such a large pool of people, I would run into former co-workers. There were a small population of people that I knew and I could not stand (because of their shadiness) and I would not look at them in passing and just kept it moving. That move was neutral (no negativity and no recognition of their presence).
Heather is so wrong about this, shes not watching the same trial. Nobody noticed shes not friends with any of these people for years? Since they werent living there any longer? THey got tossed out in 2017 and havent been in touch with Amber since. NOT since the lawsuit in 2019. Didnt notice the entire diagnosis of doctor Curry was 100% word for word the crazy Amber tried on the stand? Every one of the squatters just parroted what she told them, yet she has zero medical records to show? He was beating her mercilessly and she is going on TV looking flawless the next day? All of his former lovers have come out and said he was never anything but wonderful to them. Never touched any of them Dont talk about the trial you arent watching.

Heather represents the person who barely watches the coverage and makes her conclusions based on sound bites. Media has been biased and covers Johnny negatively. Heather did the same thing to Britney and I was disappointed that she seemed to turn on Britney despite supporting her last year.
I love this show, but Heather, please watch the whole trial when you can - at least all of Amber’s testimony and Johnny’s live witnesses. You’re really making a lot of comments but seem unaware of really important parts. And as far as being afraid anyone can sue you if you speak out, the biggest defense of defamation is the truth. Meaning, if you say something, and it’s *true*, you do not have to worry about defamation. What you can’t do is lie about someone to damage them. We all deserve the right to protect ourselves from having our livelihoods destroyed by lies. For example, you definitely should have sued when chelsea lied about you selling stories because it hurt your career at the time, and it wasn’t true.

She can’t understand how his finger was cut bc she didn’t listen to how it happened. Johnny’s hand was on a hard surface when the bottle hit his hand breaking and cutting his finger. Listen to things before you discuss them.
It actually makes more sense to me that he was breaking the bottle himself, holding it by the neck, and caught and sliced his finger on the surface on the downswing vs her throwing it and it hitting his hand at the perfect angle to break in such a way that it could cut his finger off. I don’t like AH or her grifter family/friends. I think that she has this…weird need for chaos and violence-which a lot of abusers have. I think she’s lying about a lot of things, but iono about that one. I think her friends cleaning up before the police points to them trying to protect her after she created a lot of damage vs protect Johnny. That on top of her refusing to cooperate is sus.

I loved Spencer’s comment/observation about James Franco acting like Jason Bourne. Spencer is right that James Franco was acting shady in the elevator footage. James Franco did not greet Amber with concern, but was trying to avoid the cameras and sneak in the corner.
Heather AH did not have to say his name. The op Ed points to the timeline that it would have been JD who SA'd her. She wanted to mention his name but they advised her not to, but she didn't need to. The thing that made me laugh out loud in the trial was when Johnny's lawyer grilled Amber about her being "so frightened" of the abusive Mr Depp that she decides the best plan of action is to purchase a massive knife for the man that she is so scared of. The security officer then parades the massive knife around the court room and you could literally cut the tension with the massive knife.

Idk how closely you’ve been following but every time AH tells these story’s, something changes. The incidents with her squatter friends witnessing (March 2015 staircase& May 21 2016) are NOT consistent when compared to each other or the UK statements and depos. The May 2016 one there’s some random girl who is there and then never mentioned again , even bw Raquel and her bf Josh their story wasn’t straight, one said Liz went out to the pool and they reconnected with her but then what happened? The police were there 15 min after Johnny left, Liz supposedly was out by the pool for at least 10 and came back to p1, Raquel says they met her by the pool. The police didn’t see her anywhere or broken glass. Josh Drew says he watched this Liz run upstairs to hide in p5. Liz says she bolted out the door with fear as soon as Johnny came in. They are full of shot and have been sloppy through this whole hoax. None are friends with amber anymore (maybe bc they have seen her betray someone she is supposed to love and know she can’t be trusted) but if they tell the truth now they have to admit they perjured themselves in the divorce depos and UK statements. Don’t believe their story! If you’re interested go watch Incredibly Average UA-cam channels oldest four videos. He goes through and debunks iO and Rachel’s story from the info he had 2 years ago in the UK case

Somewhere, in the massive amount of coverage this trial has generated to date - the number of comment/opinion pieces etc. I came across an interview with someone who was once in Heard's company when the discussion centered on the topic of rape. This young woman, an assistant's assistant, described having been violated with a bottle and as accused Heard of aproppriating that "story" as her own.. I believe that to be true, based on how Heard recounted the incident. It did not have any of the type of intimate detail that women would associate with such a violation. She said, for instance, "i did not know if the bottle was broken, or if it was intact..." (you would feel the difference) and when the lawyer asked. "where you hurt"? Heard: replied "yes... i guess.. but i was much more focused on my feelings being hurt. at the time". Another unbelievable testimony.

Same could be said for Depp. Who was never sober by his own admission. Why was Johnny doing drugs with a woman Amber's sister's age? She was like 21. Amber was 24. He was almost 50. Heather needs to read the 1st Amendment. It is about the government not infringing on the right of the citizens to speak on or criticize the government w/o retaliation. Defamation addresses issues between private parties. The idea of free speech is ridiculously misunderstood by most Americans. You can say whatever you want when you want in the US, but it is not all protected from consequence. Thus, there are laws in defamation and libel that limit free speech between private parties. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

AH made it sound in her OPED like she was a battered abused woman. Not that they had a bad relationship that led to therapy and certainly not that together they were explosive. Any abused woman knows you keep your mouth shut to not antagonize an abuser. You don’t beg them to stay which was caught on tape. Amber picks and bites her lip as seen in court and coincidentally that is the same place shown in photos saying it is a far lip from JD. Bottom line no matter how toxic they were together SHE defamed him.
But a UK trial found him guilty. They ruled 12 of the 14 abuse allegations were substantiated. So he lost there. And he appealed it and lost again. He’s doing this to keep attacking Amber. He won’t let it go. He’s finally been made to take responsibility and he’s livid. Super mega creep finally has to be accountable. What a concept.
I guess people have tons of time to watch the trial for hours on end. I personally can’t hang with watching (the negativity is why) and watch only about 5 minutes a day. I just read about what happened in the trial the next day to stay informed. I don’t come to JS for journalistic accuracy, but her thoughts on what is happening with current events.

Honestly what Heather says about it being a scary thing is also the reason this trial.is important. Women and men lie, fact. It happens and we should always investigate before labeling someone a domestic abuser. Ive known men in everyday life that this has happend to, they loose friends and become paranoid alcholics, its really sad. It is something that needs a light shined on it, its ugly and humiliating for Amber but hopfully some people learn a lesson. So many times when the woman lies about abuse she is the abuser, whether mentally, sexually or with voilence.

Yes! I worked at a place that employed 30K people. In my career, I worked with some people, sometimes 2 or 3 different times. We would move programs (C-130, F-16, simulators, etc.) every 3 or 4 years. With such a large pool of people, I would run into former co-workers. There were a small population of people that I knew and I could not stand (because of their shadiness) and I would not look at them in passing and just kept it moving. That move was neutral (no negativity and no recognition of their presence).

Idk how closely you’ve been following but every time AH tells these story’s, something changes. The incidents with her squatter friends witnessing (March 2015 staircase& May 21 2016) are NOT consistent when compared to each other or the UK statements and depos. The May 2016 one there’s some random girl who is there and then never mentioned again , even bw Raquel and her bf Josh their story wasn’t straight, one said Liz went out to the pool and they reconnected with her but then what happened? The police were there 15 min after Johnny left, Liz supposedly was out by the pool for at least 10 and came back to p1, Raquel says they met her by the pool. The police didn’t see her anywhere or broken glass. Josh Drew says he watched this Liz run upstairs to hide in p5. Liz says she bolted out the door with fear as soon as Johnny came in. They are full of shot and have been sloppy through this whole hoax. None are friends with amber anymore (maybe bc they have seen her betray someone she is supposed to love and know she can’t be trusted) but if they tell the truth now they have to admit they perjured themselves in the divorce depos and UK statements. Don’t believe their story!

Somewhere, in the massive amount of coverage this trial has generated to date - the number of comment/opinion pieces etc. I came across an interview with someone who was once in Heard's company when the discussion centered on the topic of rape. This young woman, an assistant's assistant, described having been violated with a bottle and as accused Heard of aproppriating that "story" as her own.. I believe that to be true, based on how Heard recounted the incident. It did not have any of the type of intimate detail that women would associate with such a violation. She said, for instance, "i did not know if the bottle was broken, or if it was intact..." (you would feel the difference) and when the lawyer asked. "where you hurt"? Heard: replied "yes... i guess.. but i was much more focused on my feelings being hurt. at the time". Another unbelievable testimony.
Are you speaking of Kate James? If not she also stole her story of being violated and made it her own. Amber is a sick person!

Heather needs to read the 1st Amendment. It is about the government not infringing on the right of the citizens to speak on or criticize the government w/o retaliation. Defamation addresses issues between private parties. The idea of free speech is ridiculously misunderstood by most Americans.
You can say whatever you want when you want in the US, but it is not all protected from consequence. Thus, there are laws in defamation and libel that limit free speech between private parties.

Heather's not watching as much of the trial as others that are talking about it.
Why are taking Amber’s side. I’m glad you’re not on the jury because you’re not impartial at all. you’re bending over backwards to try to see her point of view. He’s a senior citizen that was being beat up by a young user- maybe if you watch the trial Heather you’d understand his point of view a little bit more.
The two things that stand out to me are that-- if he hit her with his rings on where are the marks? And when she cries where are her tears?

AH made it sound in her OPED like she was a battered abused woman. Not that they had a bad relationship that led to therapy and certainly not that together they were explosive.
Any abused woman knows you keep your mouth shut to not antagonize an abuser. You don’t beg them to stay which was caught on tape.
Amber picks and bites her lip as seen in court and coincidentally that is the same place shown in photos saying it is a far lip from JD.
Bottom line no matter how toxic they were together SHE defamed him.

But a UK trial found him guilty. They ruled 12 of the 14 abuse allegations were substantiated. So he lost there. And he appealed it and lost again. He’s doing this to keep attacking Amber. He won’t let it go. He’s finally been made to take responsibility and he’s livid. Super mega creep finally has to be accountable. What a concept.

I guess people have tons of time to watch the trial for hours on end. I personally can’t hang with watching (the negativity is why) and watch only about 5 minutes a day. I just read about what happened in the trial the next day to stay informed. I don’t come to JS for journalistic accuracy, but her thoughts on what is happening with current events.

Honestly what Heather says about it being a scary thing is also the reason this trial.is important. Women and men lie, fact. It happens and we should always investigate before labeling someone a domestic abuser. Ive known men in everyday life that this has happend to, they loose friends and become paranoid alcholics, its really sad. It is something that needs a light shined on it, its ugly and humiliating for Amber but hopfully some people learn a lesson. So many times when the woman lies about abuse she is the abuser, whether mentally, sexually or with voilence.
