I’ve never listened to, Juicy Scoop, before. I always love Heather on, Jeff Lewis, and am sad that she, most likely, won’t be going on again. But … please don’t question why people still have to wear masks. I am Immunocompromised, due to having Cancer. I’ve been out of treatment for awhile, but because my white blood cells are still low, I’m still considered a risk. That is why I still have to wear a mask, even though I’m vaccinated and boosted. We don’t know what may be going on in people’s lives, so we just need to be considerate and respectful to each other. I really am enjoying the podcast-continued best of luck!
As crazy as they seemed on the hills, Spencer is incredibly respectful of Heidi and they seem to have a wonderful and normal relationship compared to others in Hollywood. He’s always very respectful and protective of their relationship which I love.
I met Kevin and his wife in 2003 in London. I was their room service waiter at the hotel they were staying. He’s a nice and down to earth man. She is lovely too. He even invited me to a showing of his new movie Open Range! I will never forget this time.

Hello! I wanted to answer your guy’s question about why are some people still in masks. I live in nyc and actually most people on the subway wear one. Many of them are older people that could die of Covid if they got it. Also my mom wears one because she’s going through chemo and she can’t get Covid because she’s immune compromised. Many young people wear it in public too just because they don’t want to get sick. I haven’t worn one in awhile, but many people that do are often immune compromised in some way and want to protect themselves :) I think it’s smart and wish I could commit to the masks in that way! But yeah, just wanted to let you guys know. Amazing episode as always! Lots of laughs ❤🎉

We live in NYC. My husband always wears a mask at work. He works at a large retail chain. I definitely would wear a mask on the bus or subway as well. We’ve both had Covid and we’re quite sick. I agree with people wearing masks for various health reasons.
@@lindabridget49 hello! I had Covid too and I was soooo sick. Literally thought I wasn’t going to live so I know exactly how you feel. Was bedridden for over a month and my lungs are still scarred. I think that’s great your husband and you take precautions to protect yourself :)
I still wear a mask because my mom is high risk and in a nursing home. It also helps with my allergies.

I still wear my mask anytime I'm out and about. My father is fighting lung cancer that's spread throughout his body so I will do everything I can to protect him. I'd never be able to live with myself if I thought I packed something in on him and wasn't doing my best to prevent it. Years ago my sister had cancer (before covid) and we'd wear masks per her doctors request bc her immune system was too low to fight anything off. So for me I know there's ppl that look and make fun of me and I don't care. I just wish ppl would stop and think sometimes there's more to the story than someone just being freaked out over covid being woke. The person you're questioning could be a cancer patient or someone suffering with some other type of illness that's doing every thing in their power to keep themselves safe and healthy while still trying to live life.
Ok i apologize for the rant but I just wish sometimes ppl would think outside of the box. ❤
I walk into a long term care home everyday to visit my parent. I wear a mask still when I am outside around public too- purely because I don’t want to kill someone in the building by bringing in a common cold. I don’t have to. But I don’t want that on my conscience.

Not trying to start a political war either it's just the one thing I see the most...if you wear a mask you're automatically a democrat and if you don't wear one and scream from the rooftops that they don't work then you're a republican. Ppl can be republican and have their own views on their health and well-being and vice versa. Me trying to keep my loved ones safe, healthy, and ALIVE has zero to do with what I believe politically. I wish the world would one day realize regardless of which side you fall on you don't have to agree with everything they do or say across the board. You can totally have your own feelings and thoughts. I absolutely adore Spencer, what a different person than what I had thought when I was watching the hills, I admit, I could not stand him, but I had seen a change and now watching a couple of him a couple of times on juicy scoop, he just comes off really charismatic and I am truly a fan now, it sucks when we judge people that we don’t even know, but I’m glad to see what a great person Spencer is, and an amazing husband and father, team Spencer, all the way!!

@Nwad - yes, he sure was. Did prison time. Later got accused of SA. He ALSO later got full custody of the kids. 🙄 Then after that He split 50/50 with Catherine.

Hahaha I had to use the court ordered texting app for a year after my divorce. Every time you used a cuss word or “negative tones” a big red box would pop up and ask if you were sure you wanted to send. It sent the level of passive aggressiveness to a 10. I loved it 😊
I would never trade my childhood without technology for anything. I’m thankful to have been able to be a kid and not have social media influence me. Parents should be monitoring underage kids phones. There is too much awful shit out there.

Last heard this was Costner's last season in Yellowstone because his wife said NO MORE because he was in Montana for months each year and she was in LA. There was fear Yellowstone was done without him. (Heather FYI the tv Yellowstone ranch is in Montana and the park is in WY and MT not Utah.)

I wasn't going to tell my story but after listening to you two discuss it, I have to tell you. After 15 years of marriage, 2 daughters ages 5 & 7 at the time, my ex had an affair for over a year and got the woman pregnant. When we got divorced I wasn't aware of the affair until 9 days later when my ex told me she was pregnant and they were going to get married. We got 50/50 equal physical and legal custody of our daughters. He is also an assistant principal in their school district and I'm a Nurse Practitioner with my own private practice. Fast forward 7 years later and I have given up about 80% of my custodial time because of how disruptive the time sharing schedule was. By the time they got into middle school and their father was their AP, I felt it was best they stay with him Monday-Friday during the school year for obvious reasons. Between my clinic hours and the travel time, it got worse the older they got. My ex married the woman he was having an affair with and they have 4 total kids (she had one with her husband who died 2 months before their affair started) when our girls are at their home. I have not remarried, nor am I dating. Our divorce broke me and I'm taking my time to still figure out what happened but it has all but killed me to give up the time I have for them. If they can't see their own parents happily married, I want them to see their dad happily married and I hope that's the case (They tell me he's happy). My only fear is that I worry that they think Im making a choice to not be with them which couldn't be further from the truth. I like their step mother and she's a good person. She does the best she can in her situation, which can't be easy for her either. I just feel like kids should get all the love they can when they can and if she loves them as well, then the more the merrier. I can't stand to be around them, but I know in my heart my girls are taken care of when they are with them. ❤️ from Florida
I’m tearing up as I read your comment of your truths -that I can only imagine was so hard to write- but so needed to be released! I’m no expert but I have some similar situations. I too had an ex who got not one but 2 other girls pregnant when I was young, pregnant and believed I was the only one! That pain was so hard at a time that it was almost unheard of!( before social media and before going to therapy wasn’t also looked down on ) when I had to pretend I wasn’t in the obvious hurtful pain I was! However, once I finally met with these other young women I was carrying grudges for-I realized they too were victims of his lies- and I let go of that hate and anger! Even towards him- cause he was all our sons dad and I didn’t want my son to not have his dad in his life, and i chose to let him know early about his other siblings. If I didn’t, he could have resented me or found out in a classroom one day! I’m happy to say my son now has 3 other brothers from his dads exs and my son being the oldest always reaches out to the others atleast once a year, now that they’re all grown up and doing their own lives.
But, I have another son 10 years younger than the 1st son from a marriage that sadly only lasted 10 years. After we divorced I got in a relationship that seemed like I finally was with the man of my dreams! Until it wasn’t- he became my “ dirty John” and I didn’t even realize I was falling into a domestic abuse situation! Oh, I never thought I would ever be one of those girls who fall into that- but, I did! Never say never, huh? At that time I had my son weekdays and his dad on weekends. Once I realized this man was very dangerous and was actually threatening my sons lives( not to mention he got on crack and did beat my older son who’s 110 and 5 foot 6 to his 6 foot 230 pounds of once muscle- then broke all my ribs, shot at our home,ect.) i had to tell my ex the truth and ask him I had to keep our then 15 yr old son full time until I could sell my house , which I thought would be within 6 months. But that during that time I wasn’t going to visit or contact him because I was being tracked and wanted no danger to follow! Because i was living in PTS was so weakened- and he scared away any potential buyers I remained in my home like it was a prison! I feared to even go to the store or to have friends over for they could become potential victims of his crazy behaviors! So 6 months became 3 years until I just ran from my paid off home and almost everything in it! The moral of the story is- once I began to feel it was safe again and my PTS left me- I finally stopped by his father’s house with some items I had saved from the home for him( all his favorite matchbox cars I put in a target glass lamp) and began to drop cards and cash gifts at the holidays. However, my son has never contacted me or thanked me! My mom would say- “you tried, he doesn’t want to thank you- I wouldn’t give another gift!” My replies have been- I’m not doing this for a thank you but to show him I love him. He has every reason to be upset with me since it probably appeared i abandoned him since I didn’t think telling a 15 yr old mom’s boyfriend was on crack was helpful at that time. I still don’t! I grew up to a place that just knowing my son had a good dad to help him turn into a good young man was better than the life I could have given him during those several years! My son is 23 now and maybe will one day return to my life. Maybe not. BUT I know in my heart that I did what was best for him- and that’s what keeps me going! In your case- YOU ALSO DID A VERY CARING UNSELFISH ACT! I commend you! I love that you felt your children growing up in a house where they have both their father and a mother figure they like was a better environment than the one you were able to give at that time! I have seen so many bitter moms of divorce take the kids out of their dads life totally and make up lies or just keep them from feeling love for that other parent! You did such a beautiful act of love and i know it! For only the true unselfish love of a mother would risk knowing one day that her kids may think you chose single life or a job over them- when you know ou did it for their stability and hopes of a better life! If nobody has told you this- I commend you! Especially that you want your kids to get all the love their receiving, even when one of them is a step mom! Your a hero mom in my eyes! I could go on and on! But know- if you ever want to chat thru emails- you have a fellow mom warrior here who thinks you’re an awesome mom and amazing person!

Regarding the masks, Speaking for myself, I'm immune compromised and have an auto immune disease so I have to wear a Mask. More than likely the people you see with masks on have certain medical issues like this.

I had to laugh about the mask discussion. I’m still wearing mine. I have a critically ill child at home and am not willing to risk bringing it home. So far, we’ve been able to keep her safe. 💜

I wear a mask because I have cancer. You wouldn’t know I have cancer by looking at me. I’m 43. I often hesitate to wear a mask because I know some people think like you and Spencer. Maybe we shouldn’t assume why someone wears one. Maybe they are sick and want to protect people like me or maybe they were diagnosed with cancer with two young children and are just trying to survive.

My dad is 76 and has chronic asthma and we live in FL he always wears a mask when he has to go into a crowded building.

@@Glav0126 Yes, I agree! Thank god I was never cheated on by my ex-boyfriends and ex-husbands (there were other issues!), because that would have been an immediate red flag. If they cheat once, they will cheat again!
@@Glav0126 but cheating isn’t necessarily a reason to breakup? Cheating is always BOTH peoples fault in the relationship (even the one being cheated on). In some cases, if handled correctly, cheating can make your relationship closer in the end once you do the work in therapy. It’s so weird to me how the internet is so black and white in opinions. Humans are getting dumber because we don’t discuss the grey.

Anyone currently wearing a mask is doing so because they or a close family member is immunocompromised ie asthma, cancer, the elderly, etc, which is why people should be respectable when they see someone wearing a mask. Always a terrific show, Heather!

I’ve noticed an anger within people when they go off on people wearing masks still (I’m not saying that is you) and I’m just wondering why. I was scolded by a man that sat beside me on the bus for still wearing a mask and I had to listen to his man tantrum. It won’t stop me from wearing a mask and I had an honest question as to why a mask is so triggering because I honestly can’t figure it out. I asked the man if he was pro life or pro choice and of course the answer he gave me was so confusing. Of course he cares about unborn cells more than the elderly.
They have been proven ineffective. And we haven't forgotten the nuts screaming at strangers for not wearing one.

BTW, I feel a certain way because I REALLY liked Tom Sandoval when VPR started and now, particularly on the most recent episode, he sounds insane - he is almost 42 and he uses slang at the fertility Dr.'s, can't get through 3 words in a conversation without cursing, constantly screaming, this calling his boss, Lisa, 'Dude' and having to explain what he means by the expression 'dipping out' to everyone - again, he is 42!
About the rare people wearing masks: it’s usually the immune compromised. Getting COVID could kill them. For instance, I have a friend who had a bone marrow transplant and is taking steroids to suppress his immune system so it won’t attack the donor marrow. There are many who have compromised immune systems for many reasons. I saw them regularly as an RN.
Google the masks studies that show they don't work.
I spent 18 months straight recovering in a nursing/rehab facility from multiple emergency surgeries brought on by a rare autoimmune disease that has taken over & destroyed my life the past 9 years, and the last 8 months of that stay was a nightmare situation during COVID that turned into an abusive, neglectful, awful situation that i barely got out of there alive - couldn’t even walk by the time I got out of there, and I’ve had to spend the past two + years now trying to recover just from the incredible damage done to me during my time there + what I already have to face every day from my numerous serious chronic autoimmune issues. What they did to us in there, or more accurately, DIDN’T, left my body/entire system even more screwed up than it already was, and it’s been a nightmare to try to come back from all of that.
I’m on so many serious medications, including many immunosuppressants, biologics, chemo, steroids to control everything & keep all of my internal organs from shutting down, so not masking is NOT an option for me. I have a minimum of 2, but up to 5 regular doctor & specialist appointments a WEEK, plus at least 2 different kind of physical therapy appointments a week, and that’s the only interaction I’ve been allowed to have since Fall of 2019.
I freaking miss people. But I can’t trust people to do the right thing and mask up when they ARE sick, so I can’t risk going anywhere outside of my doctors offices, physical therapy, places I HAVE to go for my basic health needs. Otherwise, I risk putting myself back in the hospital, and I never want to be put back in a situation like that again after the trauma that myself and toooo many others experienced during COVID who had to be stuck in longterm care, where we were supposed to be receiving care and recovering, and instead just got stuck in one giant nightmare that we couldn’t get out of for way too long. I had multiple roommates die that I desperately tried to help care for myself, in terrible condition myself, and they didn’t make it because they just weren’t taken care of and didn’t get their medication and the basic care they needed. If people were responsible and just masked up when they were symptomatic again, those of us with compromised immune systems could actually go out and try to have some semblance of a life again, but too many people have gone so far out of their way to make sure we can’t trust them and to intentionally make those of us who have struggled so long with serious illnesses be afraid to live our lives again.

We saw the Costner thing with Kathie Lee Gifford and Frank Gifford-25 yr difference and Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas.....no big deal until the spouse starts to inch toward their 70s and 80s and then the age difference becomes glaringly apparent. Costner always spoke so highly and went out of his way to speak publicly very positive about his spouse. Three teenagers to deal with her on her own while he is gone would have been alot. Wonder why he didnt move the family to Montana for the 6 months a year while filming, but it would be hard for kids to make that adjustment. Sure he flew home constantly in his private jet. The truth will come out in time......but his ironclad prenup is interesting and says she has to vacate the marital home so she has been planning this, knowing that she would have to leave the Santa Barbara estate........

I live in dc and a decent amount of people still wear masks. Mostly on public transit and workers. It’s just more dense here so you can get sick easily

I get the sibling thing. My parents oldest child and I are almost 10 years apart. We never had a good relationship. When my dad passed, I was able to finally end the relationship. I felt resounding peace after making that decision.

I wear a mask still on planes and any place where I'm in close proximity to people (subway; etc.) mainly because I've loved not getting colds, the flu; etc. I'm fully vaccinated and I did have Covid in 2022 (because my husband brought home the germs....grr), but I think a mask helps in not catching other stuff, too.

I’m the say way. I really do believe technology is the cause of a lot of stress with people. Heather is right! My daughter is 22 and she split her time b/t both her mom’s (me and my ex) houses and it’s a big core issue for her now. We had NO idea as we both had so much love in our respective homes. It didn’t matter.
Speaking of kids smart watches. They work great for elderly with dementia/Alzheimer’s. GPS, geo chaching (so you get a notification if they leave their house or enter the mall), and a water proof smart watch they won’t forget to leave with and it survives the bath if they forget to take it off. I find smart watches a BIT too invasive for kids but protecting elderly that like to wander in the early stages of cognitive decline they have worked like a peach. I prefer the Chinese brands for their functionality- was told it might not work in North America but it works perfectly. We use the Xplora X5 play watch- it is just plain black in colour. Adult smart watches are too complex for cognitive decline to maneuver. A kids watch works perfectly. All you need them to do is put it on and be able to answer the watch if you call them. The watch vibrates and rings loudly with calls and texts. When you call the Xplora watch it looks identical to getting a call on an iPhone - so if your elderly HAD an iPhone (that they probably lost multiple times and it’s getting expensive replacing them) they know how to answer it by hitting the green accept button. I have a runner of a parent. Before we double deadlocked all the doors my parents would RUN out of the house the moment I went pee or got in the shower. It’s amazing how fast they can walk down the streets when they know someone is about to run after them. At least I could wipe my bum properly when I’d get the notification on the toilet that my parent had walked out the front door- because I could easily see what street they turned down to intercept them before they got to a busy road. It also keeps a record of all the movements so if your elderly has a usual walking route you can monitor their paths they take in a day to make sure nothing seems out of the ordinary. When my parents regular walking paths changed I knew it was time they could no longer walk alone. It’s hard in those beginning stages to know when you have to start taking freedom away- you don’t want too early or too late.
