2 years ago I lost everything my job and what I thought was true love. Slept in my busted ass car dont have enough to eat or keep me warm In Chicago winter. I watch this movie on my phone using free wifi. Then this song hit me hard. Now I am truck driver make more then 5k a month. I have my own place going engaged and driving mercedes. Don't ever ever give up br somebody.
Great end credits song. Great 80s comedy movie. RIP George Gaynes (Lassard), David Graf (Tackleberry), Bubba Smith (Hightower), Marion Ramsey (Hooks), Debralee Scott (Fackler's wife), and Hugh Wilson (Director).
Not for nothing there is a sketch from Pinky and the Brain where Brain tells Pinky he wants to use Guttenberg's greatest achievement to take over the world, then Pinky asks if they are going to be using Police Academy 4, it's so funny.
I feel so privileged that I got to see the 80s. If I could change one thing, that would be to appreciate the 80s more so. I need a time machine with a one-way ticket. That's why I love the movie Hot tub machine. I want to jump into the movie and not come back.❤🙌
84 baby here! My mom was the one who showed me "Police Academy" when I was like 7 or 8, and I could not quit laughing! To this day, I can't watch that movie and not laugh through it! It's been one of my favorites ever since I first saw it!
@@LilRocker2005 Hey 👋, yuan the same here. The 1st Police Academy was my favourite by far. There was just something about the 80s that we don’t have in todays film even with today’s crazy movie budgets. I was only watching Cocktail last weekend. I often find myself going back to 80s films. My all time favourite 80s movie was No retweet no surrender.
@@RBASB10 It would be tough for me to pick just one because I do love stuff like Top Gun, The Breakfast Club, most of the big ones from the 80s, but I also enjoy lesser known gems from the 80s like "Little Darlings" starring Tatum O'Neal and Kristy McNichol, and "Foxes" starring Jodie Foster, both from 1980.
Best thing about the 80s movies is that you can revisit that wonderful decade any time you like. I do it more and more each year as modern Hollywood degrades...
oh the good old times, how nostalgic. I love this movie to date.. haha cracks me up. thank you dad for introducing me to it. so much child hood memories!!
I love this songs at the end of the credits of Police Academy. I absolutely love this movie as well as the third one. I absolutely love all The Police Academy Movies
I always think it’s funny considering this song isn’t listed on albums as far as I can tell until the 2000s. I’ve been searching for a while to try and find a vinyl copy with this song. I can’t find it on any of the earlier albums the group did in the 80s.
I was 14 years old when this movie premiered here in Melbourne, Australia, in 1984. The entire Series was sheer Satire Parody Comedy "Gold". The tunes were better than on Radio back then or today. Great song and good memories 👍👍👍👍👍.
I was 12 when i borrowed the vhs from a friend who had returned from singapore. They were stationed in singapore where apparently this film was broadcasted and it was for the whole family. How? the vhs did not have a single adult or nude scenes, all parts were edited out. Without nudity and sex this movies is a blast.I remember watching it almost everyday and laughing at tackleberry, mahoney and lt harris.Dang those were the days.Hail The Light!
I have lost everything I have been in Abilene Texas 2 years now but I am Moving to Austin Texas and well doors have opened for a 1 year sober living program and if I graduate from that I end up going to UT AUSTIN and I pursue my dream of being a LCDC and Spiritual Advisor

Fun Fact: The Academy was an old disused insane asylum beside the lake in Toronto.
Cats from Police Guard Seraphine ???
Who was the lead singer for Jack Mack when this was made?
Max Carl, same guy who became one of the singers for the southern hard rock/pop band 38 Special and sang "Second chance" a few years later
