    Very helpful video. Too make your video appeal to a larger audience perhaps also give temperature in celsius as few if any countries outside the USA still use Fahrenheit and unless they are quite old the viewer has to convert to Celsius. Keep up the good work.

    I recently purchased this heater, and found this video perfect in informing me how to operate it. So thanks!
    One comment on the unit: I am a little disappointed with the wheels. I liked the way they looked, but one issue is the hoods dig into my medium-pile carpet, so it doesn’t move as well as I would have anticipated. You seem like a smart person, so if you have any suggestions on alleviating this issue I would appreciate it. Thanks again.

    Hello thanks for the video. I've been using mine for roughly a week and i want to use eco mode i press on the button the green light is on "min" and "mid" switches are on and red. The thermostat is set at six but the heater doesn't heat up at all.. It heats pretty good when "eco temp" is off (the green light is off) but when i turn on eco temp it doesn't heat how long do i have to wait for it to heat ?

    • @Iscaper
      @Iscaper  Рік тому

      I don't use Comfort mode because according to the manual:
      With the “COMFORTEMP” button and both switches pressed,the appliance is automatically set to reach and maintain what is considered to be the comfort temperature.
      A green light comes on to indicate activation of “COMFOR-TEMP”. In this mode the temperature is automatically set only by the “COMFORTEMP”. To deactivate this mode and return to thermostat operation, press the COMFORTEMP button again.
      I guess this means the heater determines what the Comfort mode is and automatically sets the temperature. So if you want the temperature higher you have to turn off Comfort mode and use the thermostat dial.

    Great video! But what was the temperature outdoors when you shot this video? Maybe I missed smth? Just so I have an idea of how much it heats up before getting myself one. Can i raise the temperature within 2 hrs from 44 farenheit to 68 farenheit with this unit of 1500 watts in a 160sqft room? I live in south of Europe. You used this heater alone to heat up all that huge space?

    • @Iscaper
      @Iscaper  2 роки тому +1

      Good questions. We live on the Oregon Coast and average temperature is around 50 degrees. We do have high humidity. My wife has one of these heaters in her office which is about the same size as your room and she can increase the temperature in a room that small quickly. The heater we have in the living/kitchen area (600 sq.ft) takes a number of hours to increase the temperature. It is the only heater we have in the living area, but we do have wall units with fans that we can use to turn up the temperature quickly if needed.

      @@Iscaper Im in Malta, but it is the same climate in South of Italy and south of Spain aswell. I bought the Delonghi TRRS0715, the 1500 watt model, down here locally actually. VERY happy with it. For 160sqft room it is perfect if the room got acceptable insulation. I use an electric timer that turns the Oil Radiator on and off in 15 minute intervals to save some electricity. Just using it on the 800Watt setting and level 6 on temperature level in intervals on and off for 12hrs a day basically. That makes it 68 farenheit throughout the entire day on 160sqft. Fantastic product if used with an electric timer in the wall connected to it. Our house is poorly insulated in general, so this is why I use electric timer.
      When it was 53 farenheit outdoors and heavy winds yesterday I had 68-70 farenheit in my room. (Just as a reference). And im sure that even at 44 farenheit it will be 68 farenheit in my room with it on and off in 15 minute intervals at 800watt setting.

      I don't think people are buying one of these for every room and turning off their central heating. To alter the temp of one room buying one of these is more cost effective than boosting the whole house. Strictly speaking from an energy efficiency standpoint these are just as efficient as central heat, all of the electricity is turned to heat. Cost could be a concern because natural gas central heaters end up being a lot cheaper in most regions just because of how cheap natural gas is.

      Hey, so I already have one of these. I got it to review last summer, now that is cold. I just took it out of my closet. I am in a older apt. Does it use so much power that a person running an oxygen machine in the same room, not the same outlet is going to cause the fuse to blow? I haven't had a space heater in years, the last time I had one, an old roomate and I couldn't run ours at the same time, but I am hoping things have changed since them. I know I ultimately will need to find out on my own, but you seem like you might have a handle. @@maxeddis1138

      @@manimanibooboo These heaters can pull up to 12.5 Amps on max settings, so definitely can flip a breaker or blow a fuse if other things are plugged into the same circuit

      Sorry to hear that, we have two of the units and they work great.
