MOST DANGEROUS SECTION OF THE FLORIDA TRAIL: DAY ONE

The First 30 miles of the Florida Trail are among
the toughest miles of wilderness trail in the
United States.
Most of your time will be spent wading in ankle to
waist-deep water among tropical habitats.
Alligators, cottonmouth moccasins, and parasites
are present.
Please always hike with a group and carry a satellite tracking device.
This footage is right before Christmas. I had to end the first attempt after the camera was destroy and set back out after Christmas. Altogether I spent 6 days in the Big Cypress Swamp
