beholder is amongst there very best tracks imo, one of Kirk’s more unique solos, the fancy 5/4 bit on the bridge to the solo and generally one of the songs on ajfa that doesn’t need any fat trimming off it. The production on justice really lets that song down, pedalling a palm muted e note should sound that weak.

Awkwardly my favourite Garage Inc song is almost certainly Mercyful Fate so... getting that live would be a bit awkward xD
Having recently been to the Castle Donington shows, I was pretty happy with their overall mix of songs although it was very early RtL through Black Album dominated. Would have liked another some from Kill Em All (massive fan of Jump in the Fire) and while I love Escape I definitely wouldn't trade it for any of the other bangers from RtL.
I do wish there was a couple more modern songs, I was saying to my friends there that I'd kill to hear the likes of Bleeding Me, Ain't My Bitch, The House That Jack Built, Wasting My Hate (can you tell I'm a big fan of Load? xD) and while I'm not massive on ReLoad, Prince Charming is honestly really high up on my favourites list. Also one of those people who actively enjoy listening to St Anger and being honest their live performances of the songs recently have been pretty kick ass, just the title track alone would have been great but I would have gone INSANE if they played Dirty Window.
Death Magnetic songs I basically feel equally as great about all of them, though The Day That Never Comes was absolutely beautiful to listen to. Hardwired is a 50/50, half the songs are top bangers like Halo on Fire, Spit Out The Bone, Moth Into Flame and my 2nd favourite Metallica song Atlas, Rise! (another I'd literally cry if they had played while I was there) but a lot of the songs like Am I Savage? and Manunkined are just... meh.
AND THEN THERES 72 SEASONS. Listening to the album on Spotify it was another case of songs I love and songs I think are meh, then they played like mostly meh songs live and holy shit they absolutely slap??? If Darkness Had A Son and You Must Burn! have no right being such bangers live (72 Seasons and Screaming Suicide also absolutely incredible whilst Lux Aeterna is just good). I really hope you're right about them playing the others because I have been so so so excited to hear stuff like Too Far Gone?, Chasing Light and especially the outstanding Room of Mirrors. Inamorata also has the potential to be a gorgeous piece.

Load and Reload are both so well-rounded, dark, moody. It's hard-edge enough to be heavy, but the emotional journey they take you on is indescribable. The production is impeccable from my standpoint. The mix in my opinion is some of the best they've ever done, much thanks to Bob. That late 90s early 2000s era of their guitar tone is by far my favourite. Can't beat a Roland JC-120. I think the song (Escape) is in the key of "A".....hard to play live. But Metallica has the resources to make special instruments that are tuned to "A".....and just not tuning down which can be tricky.

I know some of these have been done live, but here's one from every album (even Lulu) and some covers. All Within My Hands should be acoustic similar to the way its done on S&M 2. The God That Failed and Unforgiven III are in my top 10 Metallica songs. Its a shame they aren't played live very often. I love Prince Charming. Inamorata is my favorite off the new album.
    No Remorse
    Escape
The Thing That Should Not Be
    The Small Hours
    The Shortest Straw
    The God That Failed
    Wasting My Hate
    Prince Charming
    The Prince
    No Leaf Clover
    All Within My Hands
    The Unforgiven III
    The View
    Rebel Of Babylon
    Murder One
    Inamorata

Chasing Light live is gonna be awesome. Imagine the crowd going nuts at every "LEAN ON ME!"
Shadows Follow should be an absolute banger live too

Attitude absolutely needs played. That song would kill it live. Big energy song. Where the Wild Things Are, such a gem. Unnamed Feeling? Yes please. I'd also love more Judas Kiss, All Nightmare Long and Rebel of Babylon, Spit Out the Bone. New album? Gimme Chasing Light and If Darkness Had a Son. And of course, anything more from Justice is always welcome. Why cure the fever, whatever happened to sweat?!

I would love to hear metallica play astronomy live. Blue oyster cult is one of my favorite 'classic rock' bands, and metallica is my favorite thrash metal and one of my favorite metal bands in general, so it would be great to hear that live. Id also love to hear the songs that were only played once live again, like escape, to live is to die, or fixxxer, as well as to hear mama said with the crowd singing. I hope the war in ukraine stops soon so that you and the rest of the ukranian metalheads could hear that live too!

Quite literally every St. Anger song sounds better live than on the original studio album. Shying away from throwing them in the setlist is kinda silly, in my opinion of course. If they trimmed the fat on a lot of those long-winded tracks they'd work very well, since the biggest issue with them is they're just so bloated and cumbersome.
