SuprUsr Stan is there any reason you did not go with the Universal Audio Volt series of interfaces? They have enough drive power for the mic and they're a hundred to a few hundred dollars cheaper. Just curious

hi there, nice reviews :) , i got the soundblaster ae-9, the goxlr, the beyer dynamics dt 1990 pro and the shure sm7b, looks like i can't use routing and faders since the sounds comes out of the ae-9 and not the goxlr, do you have any ways to make them all work together plz? tyvm(beyer dynamics are connected in the ae-9 and the sm7b in the goxlr)

I have a 300ohm headphone so I need to use an amp. I have a dac/amp combo. Where do I add it into the goxlr?

When you use the GoXLR without the cloudlifter then u have to push the gain on the xlr to almost 90% and you CAN tell the difference, easily… if you’re looking for quality don’t cheap out. Get the cloudlifter with the goxlr and you WILL hear the quality 😜😜

Do you swap to condenser mic on the go xlr with the cloud lifter? Where would you put the gain on the go xlr with the cloudlifter?

@@Killerwins88 The cloudlifter adds 25db so you’ll probably want to set your gain to 30-35 if you wanna get the 60db that shure recommends. And yes set your mic input to condenser instead of dynamic.

Are you still using nvidia broadcast now that you have the go xlr?

The GOXLR doesn’t have noise reduction so I do layer a bit of it on top of the goxlr. You don’t need much because the sm7b rejects a lot of noise already.
