Patiently waiting for Dualsense Edge Shells and clicky trigger kits
Remove the metal pin....make it look so easy where as I've been trying to remove it for 30mins
Same
Me too
how did you do it?
@elliottp0tat063 I just tried over and over, and it eventually came loose
@@CJPLAYZ586 yea it just needed a wiggle
Absolutely loving the ps5 controller kits so far, just did my first a week or so ago!
Thanks! Glad to know that!
How is it holding up?
its extremly easy to snap the trigger mounts. be careful. i didnt even realize i had done it.
When will you be releasing the clicky triggers for the BDM-030 model? I just bought your product thinking I had the right model but I didn't 😪
Edit: Ok I've seen you tell others to wait for the month of May. Can you confirm if that's still true? I'm VERY impatient about this lol
same here just bought the whole kit and didnt know my controller isnt a bdm10 or 20
@@sethjessbry32 I think they need to provide better methods for identifying which controller is which. It's gotta be as easy as checking the back shell for certain markings. Too complicated otherwise
@@KryptonianChaos1 literally why I’m viewing this video to not make this mistake.
Its not their fault that sony is intentionally making it diffcult to identify the differences. @@KryptonianChaos1
@@OptimusSatanas No it's not their fault, but that's the beauty of good customer service isn't it?
Any advice on getting my right bumper/trigger to not get stuck?
having a similar issue-i believe it might have something to do with the model number. if you’re using first model, the replacements might not work because the trigger units are the same shape and orientation for left and right. the new triggers are mirror images of each other, and a small piece of plastic that normally fits between the adaptive trigger’s motor housing and the plate opposing it on the left trigger gets caught on the housing on the right. my advice is to keep the original trigger on or try to contact extremerate about getting a replacement trigger
Extremerate do it yourself videos are done by idiots. I notice they all miss steps to show you how to do something . It's like they do it on purpose. I'm never buying feom them again.
Is it possible to keep the standard DualSense D-pad with micro switches under it instead of four buttons?
this controller doesn't look like mine! there aren't the three screws at the front of the L2 R2 triggers!
You must have an older controller so it will look different inside look up a different tutorial it should work then.
does the L1 R1 L2 R2 button are compatible with an BDM-040 model ?
Anyone know if this works on bdm40?
Can I configure these back paddles on pc as well?
No, they are not extra buttons, they are just the clone buttons. Which means the controller and back paddles can works fine on PC just like it works on PS5
Looks amazing✨
I did this but mine makes a clicking sound whenever I connect it back to the ps
Ok, so on the triggers, i put them together exactly like you, but the trigger does not work properly, is there a spring or something i am missing, and you are missing in your video. I have been going through all your extremerqte videos, and it looks like all you guys suck at showing people how to do atudd because off of you miss steps.
Can I get buttons that say actually ABXY on them for pc games?
Found them on etsy
I can’t remove the metal shaft holding the triggers I don’t have a tool that can do that
A sim card pin will be your best friend
Yea good video you miss two screws and had me tore my controller apart AH
Nice that you guys have something like this in mind 👍 The face buttons from the Dualsense Edge are also different 😞are you planning to release Dualsense Edge Buttons also?
I'm guessing in a few more months
Sure! Please stay tuned!
@@biozombieactive8792 Summer!
What's different about the bdm 030 from the other models? Also is the installation different compared to the other 2 or is it the same?
The difference is the motherboard and slight differences in the way it's been assembled...screws in different places, wires on different places, etc.
No one can seem to identify a functional dfifference, all just list physdical hardware changes. Im curious what differences there are in fuinctionality that the user would notice. @@lycanthrophy616
I would like to see it available on Amazon in Japan.🥺🥺🥺
Thought I had bought 020 buttons, turns out it was these. What's the difference?
The main difference is that the triggers have different assemblies. So if you have a 030 or 040 controller you wont be able to use the 020 triggers
Have you guys got bdm30 micro switches for these yet?
We are working on it already, please stay tuned!
I hope you will release more colors! I need metallic purple mauve buttons to match the shell I have from you guys
We will add more colors for the buttons in the future. And we have metallic purple mauve for the BDM010/020 buttons at this moment, you can use all the buttons except L1R1L2R2 on BDM030 controller
@@ExtremeRate I have that set on my controller already! I'll have to wait for the 030 kit so my triggers can finally match
Fking broke my controller cuz the dumb holes wouldn’t a line back im so pissed off
MICRO SWITCH FOR BDM-030 PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can i just get away with using needlenose pliers instead of tweezers
Make a video how to do it with the your damn product alr on the controller
correct order words not in.
i just broke my fucking controller because the R2 wouldn’t move back up to the resting spot correctly and then the spring fell out and now it won’t work. I’m not happy about this.
Sounds like a you issue
I had this same issue. Figured out why this was happening. I bought two sets of their white button packs just to change the bumpers/triggers.
The R2 trigger button they made was made incorrectly. The inside layout of the button they made is the exact opposite layout of the actual R2 button that comes with the PlayStation. Thus, stopping the button halfway through the motion of pulling the trigger back. Maybe this was a manufacturing issue on their part, but I’m going to bring it up with customer service as this is a pretty big issue. Hope this helps 🙏🏼
so you mean you messed up
