- I modified the PS5 controller with PS4 magnetic parts. The magnetic metal joystick cannot be used, and the joystick will get stuck, but it can be replaced with eXtremeRate ThumbGear.

Strange that today metal magnetic analog sticks works without problems.
But I hate that rised dpad. On normal high I would find it better

I tried original xbox one s thumbsticks and it doesnt work either. Then tried with Scuf Impact thumbsticks and they fits :)
I just wanna change my analog sticks to those. I need them higher the cheap rubber i bought adapters just keep falling off.

4 minutes and 27 seconds he said his controller was not compatible the real problem is that he tightened the battery plate too tight down where the thumb sticks couldn't bounce back. Just had this problem and just fixed it..
No. This won't increase the pressure needed to move analog stick. Ps5 analogs are flimsy.
For the dpad what did you use ?

@@clockworkNate Ohhh yes, lol. We tried to indicate that the magnetic metal joystick doesn't work on this mod, while the eXtremeRate ThumbGear sticks work.
Does this kit come with the elite series 2 7mm wide concave tip thumbstick?
They work dreams on the ps4 controller.. rip
dont work in my case......... the thumbstick........ is harder and ever..... how solucionate this problem

Must use a joystick base that is compatible with the PS5 controller. Hope this would help.
