The world was better with John in it. I'll never stop missing that man. When they were selling laserdiscs I bought the laserdisc version of the John Lennon Collection. It had videos for all the songs and all the songs were longer with no fade outs.
I remember clearly the day I heard the news! Me and my now deceased best friend Kev walked in the snow around the town just talking about John Lennon lennon and Beatles music blasting on the radio 📻 a terrible day! I was 20 and that day is still registered!
What a great Birthday tribute to an absolute legend, not many could show the amount of memorabilia that you have, pretty damn impressive. My hat goes off to you sir, happy 79th bday John..
Hi, the fact Lennon wrote songs as intelligent , imaginitive and diverse as In My Life, Norwegian Wood, Tomorrow Never Knows, Strawberry Fields, Imagine, etc shows what a unique music talent he had. Personally i don`t like everything he and the Beatles produced , i think some of their tracks are awful but a lot of their music is so perfect it goes beyond being just art. At times listening to Lennon`s and Beatles music has made me cry because it has so much beauty and soul.
Yoko's voice can be challenging to be polite about it. Her Art was one thing and she was obviously very creative but really the way she ruined Johns otherwise wonderful performances like live peace in Toronto and the dirty Mac supergroup on the stones rock n' roll circus is truly awful. But there is no accounting for taste man, some people really like Phil Collins!
