Family tobacco curing in Prilep North Macedonia גידול טבק במקדוניה

Tobacco has an important role in the economy of Prilep municipality and in Macedonia in general. During the autumn, the city of Prilep becomes decorated with numerous stands with tobacco leaves that are undergoing the air curing process.
Families take part in this agricultural celebration, thus having an important source of income.
In this short clip we can see how tobacco leaves are joined together on a string so they can be hung for air curing and aging.
