I heard the root cause is because people just let them sit and idle not really putting their foot into it and not changing their oil regularly! Please if I'm wrong correct me it would be very appreciated 🙂 I just want to know what to look forward to if I buy a dodge charger or any other Mopar product.

That is 100% correct, correct oil pressure/oil flow and ON TIME OIL CHANGES are essential to avoiding this problem.
