hey there, i was following you tutorial but I got stuck at the point where we create the doors because when I open the generic model family there is no forms panel nor extrusion button. My panels look completely different, any idea how to fix it?
Hi there. Probably you have selected the "Generic model Family, not "DOOR family". We have used both of them, but for different parts, So you might want to check the Category.
Hey I am having a doubt, when I can the width of the door after it is created; why the components are getting exploded (Why it is completely deforming)?
Thanks heaps. It was so helpful!
Happy to help!
Getting addicted of your tutorials, love watching and learning from you,Thanksgiving.

So nice of you. Thanks.
Families that you provided are of 2009 version, can't retrieve them.
All the families were created and saved on 2024 version as you can see in videos. I never had 2009 version on my PC. It must be something else.

can you please make that french door into a older version of revit....
I'm afraid not. Revit does not allow saving in older versions.
Can't we model the door panel and handle also in the same door frame family as an extrution?
Sure we can. We model it separately to be able to control it better or use it for other doors or families.

Hi there. This type of issues raise from not aligning and locking lines with reference plans. Make sure to check all of them.
at 5:32, how did you make it smaller?
I selected the reference line and moved it down with the keyboard. You can do the same by changing the value of that parameter.
