    Even with 1 mil on it I usually overbuild LT recon tanks and flame tanks, so I refit those into SPGs and TDs. I put them in Panzer grenadiers divs with any extra mech i have and those put on DDay wall. Kind of larpy but it keeps me from having to pull tanks off Barb. Good video!

      Thanks man, thats a good way of being efficient with your production.

    Glad that our long discussion actually allowed you to produce a good video.
    Especially wince most people just write off SPAs putright and don't actually spend time to research them.
    Already shared it in my channel.
    This is why I subscribed so long ago to your channel. Very good explanation and guides.

    Cheap spg and Superior Firepower is insane Soft attack

  • @Tref1366
    @Tref1366 9 місяців тому +4

    MOST Soft attack you can put on a SPG is like 90 with all the buffs, IC through the roof, for 1/4 of the IC you fit 12km/hr Mot R. Arty (Katyushas) and be chilling.
    If you're playing USA go for it, nothing is *too* expensive with them tbh

      Tank templates have higher soft attack though due to combat width.

    You should add AA to the templates for CAS damage reduction and more Piercing.

      For sure!

      Add a recon tank with a high velocity cannon and it will give 30+ piercing on its own. I would adjust this template with one medium AA and it would be very effective.

    Damn. Now I want to make 40-width SPG fast divisions.

      For AI it shreds.

    I like these big boys toys topics, but play as France in SP: you won't be able to play the armor until mid-game at best, and oil is such an issue. If UK was doing a better job at air cover, then maybe...

    you can get these divisions to 12 speed pretty easily. also that org is uncomfortably low.

    • @ESG1
      @ESG1  Рік тому +1

      SPG wins so fast you don't have to worry about org as much. Never seen 12 speed work out better than pure soft attack in an actual game.

      @@ESG1 depends the situation. I’ve had games as the Soviets where I have green air and 800 soft attack tank divisions and Germany stacks like 13-18 infantry divisions on every tile of the frontline and the only reason I can push through is that my Tanks have enough Org to keep fighting. And the higher 12 speed helps massively because you can encircle the lines even quicker than you would with 8 speed. Also less important but if you’re attacking into something that’s not plains with that low org it’s gonna get shredded if you can’t push through straight away

    • @Tref1366
      @Tref1366 9 місяців тому +1

      25 org is scary. if you take a province and get countered you will lose it. and going up against Russia with that much armor in 1 division especially with all the extra fuel tanks, and trucks will grind you to a halt, if you're using 6km/hr tanks, use cav

    These tanks have wayy to high IC. A Good tank needs maximum 15 IC with 70% Reliabilty.

    what are those designs lmao, also hulls above basic are pretty much useless

    • @jordangames2560
      @jordangames2560 Рік тому +5

      I like the better hulls for reliability and especially speed. Extra production cost isn’t that big of a problem or you’ll turn into the guy who builds 1936 1940 and 1944 guns because “efficiency”

    • @ESG1
      @ESG1  Рік тому

      You will lose a lot of equipment if you don't have 100% reliability now. You can take off the fuel drums but you won't get much soft attack for your trouble.

    • @rainbowappleslice
      @rainbowappleslice Рік тому +5

      wtf that's just wrong basic mediums are far worse than advanced mediums. more reliability means more speed and armour

    • @jansatamme6521
      @jansatamme6521 Рік тому +1

      @@ESG1 idk about the reliabilty one, also pure spgs will always take a lot of casutlies since they are very soft and have no breakthrough, the best way to use them is to make a normal 13-8 tank div for MW rr and replace 3 tanks with 2 SPG or use a mostly mechanized division and use them instead of rocket arty. Also fuel drums are way too expensive and replacing them with 1 more secondary turret for meds and 2 more secondary turrets for heavies is worth. Radio is useless u get no breakthrough anyways and u replace that with easy maintanence, for the ic cost reduction. You also get rid of cast armor and switch to riveted because armor is only meta on heavy tanks and AI doesnt use AT anyways and in MP spgs are useless. As both armor and breakthrough are usless on SPGs u get rid of all of ur armor clicks. For speed u go for more engine clicks, for heavies u need to get the 2nd engine tech to get to the optimal 8 km/h

      Depends on what your opponent is doing. Since I don’t have an opponent in the video, u get my all around best guess. I don’t disagree with anything u said but who are u playing against?
