Christ has denounced the legalistic religion of the Pharisees when he compared them to whitewashed tombs. Nicely plastered on the outside, but full of dry dead bones on the inside. On the outside all law enforcement, but on the inside there is no love.
Did you know that heaven is a free gift from God? Billions of people go to bed every night wondering if they've been "good enough" to go to heaven. There is no need to live in fear and doubt. Jesus taught that you can “know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
There are many passages in the Bible that teach the truth that heaven is a free gift from God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, not through our own good works. One of the most clear and important passages comes from the Apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians:
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one should boast.”
Most people think that heaven is a riddle that can never be solved. This is not true! The Bible is very clear about how you get to heaven, and how it comes through faith in Jesus Christ, not through trusting in our own good works.
You only get two educations, the one you're given and the one you give yourself!

My sincere gratitude towards pastor John is deeper than words can describe. He was Gods tool for restoring my faith, well my sanity even. Looking at him now, seeing him getting older and closer to being with our lord Jesus Christ, fills me with so many conflicting emotions. I feel joyous knowing that he will ‘soon’ be glorified with Jesus, and I feel the deepest of sadness for what that means for the true church of Jesus Christ. I believe that pastor MacArthur symbolises the end of something. A time of grace and chance for true repentance, and something deep in my guts tells me that once he goes, we are gonna descend into a different type of confusion and evil. I think he is gonna be one of the last true and great men of God. Come soon Jesus!!
100 % Agree. I was thinking the same about him appearing more frail. He is direct, no nonsense and unapologetic about the word of Almighty God. He always has been. Watching old Larry King clips he never waivered. We are coming to the end of the church age.Sadly so many of my brothers and sisters in Christ have fallen into compromise of the Lord and His word. The world has creeped in. God bless John MacArthur and his steadfast love of God and the clear unadulterated gospel of Jesus our Lord!

Christ loves us with an everlasting love. Satan who still unfortunately rules world, uses all devices at his disposal to tharwt truth and throw off beliefs, resist him steadfast in the faith. Be brave be strong. Christ promised to keep us until the end, and He'll do just that. Our responsibility is to keep the faith of Christ until His glorious return. In this last and evil day, I'm holding on for dear might. All hail King Jesus. God is taking good care of me and He is that Supremely power.

Jesus said those things to his church, to people that where baptized by priests in water and espirit, and people that received communion, and whent to confession. They accept Jesus church you didn't, it doesn't apply to you. What you think will happen when those people next to you realised they have been decived. You can't take a book from the church apply it to you without entering the church. I would not be surprised if you made your own church. The Apostles in the beginning instead of eating the body of christ, they would gaze at him ,because many felt anwordy of eating, only after a little while they got to the conclusion that Jesus said to eat, and from then the church as been doing that,also in the beginning the confessions where public in front of everyone. That also started with the Apostles. You can't read the bible and deny everything Jesus established for us,he done this with a purpose. BEHOLD THE DAYS ARE COMING DECLARES THE LORD WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL. ISRAEL ACCEPT HIM NOT. THAT IS WHY HE GAVE HIS COVENANT TO OTHERS.

@@TheRoger1205 did you accept the church he established, or you are part of a church that took the book that belongs to the church and made their own religion. The bible was made by Catholic Church for the church. In order to read the bible we need the espirit of the church. The reason there is so many protestant heresies is because they don't have the espirit of the church. Everyone is reading different. I sincerely don't know how they can read the bible and just take what they want. The body and blood of Jesus in the EUCARISTY they say its only symbolic. This is the biggest achievement of the devil. Never our God said that. The part of the bible where Jesus said to the Apostles go and baptize all nations, the sins you forgive shall be forgiven the ones you retain shall be retained, he established the EUCARISTY and said if we don't eat the body and drink the blood of the son of man you will not enter the kingdom of heaven, .when Jesus said all of this he was establishing a new covenant with his new priests.Protestant pastores failed to understand that. When Catholic Church made the bible it took 400 years after Jesus. And first 50 bibles had to be burned because they didn't agreed on the books. It was never meant to make religions of it.not everything is there.
