I understand that feeling. I have been divorced and now in another relationship for 3 years. It's hard to move to a new relationship. I hope the one I'm with now works out for the rest of my life.
I understand it more the way to not be depend for 100% in one person - your partner. It doesn't mean to cheat, but have friends and to not force your partner to like everything you do or to forbid yourself what you like.
