I did the same, I moved to Florida on my own. I didn't know anybody, and I had never been in the city where I moved to. I discovered that city on UA-cam, went there and bought a house. Here I am...I now call it home, I love it. I forgot to say I am French.
Just found your channel. Subscribed x. Since retiring early we have never socialised as much and made so many friends! With you’re positive outlook the world is your oyster! ❤
Hello Natalie, how are you doing? I have been watching your latest videos today and this is my first time asking how you are doing, my apologies🙂. I would love to see your art channel. I am learning mixed media and it is so relaxing🙂💜
Hello, I enjoy your videos, and I am preparing to move from U.S. to Portugal. In my mid 50’s. Can you please give me different ideas and suggestions on how to meet people my age when I get there, for friendship and companionship. Thank you, and I wish you all the best keep making your videos please❤️
@@lindal3272 oh thank you for your lovely Message😊. I made a video about how to make friends while living abroad here’s the link : ua-cam.com/video/8QCZPMW5sSk/v-deo.htmlsi=egWbFa1Qa_s9WyB8 I hope you get some useful tips . If you have any more questions let me know I can make maybe another video about if necessary.
@@liveyourbestlifeover50 I have lived a few years in India and also in Brasil. I was younger so health care was not that important. But personal security often requires living in a closed compound. Even while driving through a city in Brasil my window was smashed and I was forced at knifepoint to hand over my cash. Here in PT I do not even lock my doors…
In Tamera? I guess one of the most beautiful places in Portugal. An austrian permaculturist changed the dry environment into a flowerind water landscaoe. But I think u didnt understand well where you stay. Kind regards, Hedi Gollenbeck from Austria 🇦🇹

@@PeterStefanov-sk8rl like I said watch my video it depends on where you live it’s expensive in Lisbon Porto or the coast and Algarve. but besides that it can be affordable if you do your research, I do not know about Austria as I haven’t lived there in 30+ years..
@@PeterStefanov-sk8rl in Austria it also depends where. Vienna eg... in the noble areas it easily can be some thousand Euros for a smal flat. But in normal districts it's easily affordable. If you go to countrieside even more. Really cheap there. Smaller cities... also depends...

Why is good? Do you know how much is the rent 2/2 3100.00$

Greetings from Leiria! Much the same here…
Super!
Portuguese lady here ! Portugal winters are extremely cold ! Here in Canada we have all the comfort we need ! Lots to keep us busy if we want !
Thanks for sharing!!
Portugal looks awsome, lots of us 50+++ people who are single and wanting to move, I'm probably headed to Thailand. Thanks for the video.
Outside Europe was too difficult for me, so I ended up in Portugal. Great health care, simple connections to the rest of Europe and great people!
Yes I thought about Asia or South/Central America. But found it was to far and some countries seemed to be unstable or Natural Disaster prone.
