      I think for quite a while she has been using the Morley Steve Vai bad horsie wah pedal I think I've seen that on her paddle board a few times

    I sure hope we get another 10 years of Babymetal.

      I'm sure we will. I wonder how they'll evolve tho. Su can surely be the lead vocalist forever but there's a limit to being one of the two dancers. That's just the sad reality of being a dancer. And esp. Babymetal performances go crazy. Moa is in her mid 20s now. There is no way she (or any human being) can keep that up - considering _the sheer amount_ of performances they give - once she's past her mid 30s. It's just not humanly possible.
      I doubt she'd just "quit". Will be interesting to see how they tackle that change eventually.

      @@bexclue3007 You make sound mid 30's as if they are going to be ancient ladies lol. They'll adjust for sure, in fact their dances aren't so "aggressive" now as they were 10 years ago.
      If Madonna can do it in her 60's I'm sure Moa & Momo will do just fine being in perfect shape as they look to be.

    • @bexclue3007
      @bexclue3007 2 дні тому

      @@MrFerperro Madonna in her 60s didn't have the energy these girls bring on stage (which the show lives from) and didn't give as many performances as these girls do, either. The amount of performances isn't even comparable.
      I can equally say: you make it sound like professional football (soccer) players in their mid thirties "make it look like are ancient gentlemen lol". Like, no. They are just ageing.
      You severely underestimate how much of a tall it is on the body to perform and tour the way the girls currently are.
      They will gradually dial back. But that will have an overall impact on their shows - which in turn also might have an impact on the kind of music direction they will go in at the time (having the performances in mind).
      They'll have to gradually adjust and transition. And there's nothing wrong with that - so no idea why you're trying to be in denial over it

    • @MrFerperro
      @MrFerperro 2 дні тому

      @@bexclue3007 Is not denial, I just say mid 30's is not yet an age to decline to the point you need to leave what you're doing. Football players in mid 30's lose some speed and pace, but they still can perform at a high level if they have been taking care of themselves. If you don't like Madonna example, look at ballet dancers or musicals dancers, they don't retire at 35.
      As I said, Babymetal dances have softened with the years, and it's fine, they still deliver wonderfully. And I know there will be a day when they say "That's it, Babymetal as you know it is over". I just don't think getting into their 30's will be a reason.
      But only the Fox God knows, let's enjoy them as long as they exist cause there might not be another group like this ever. Peace to The One ✌🦊

    Now I canna wait to hear Mincho using the Wah pedal. It will be cool to see her custom PRS. They may release a numbered 10K version of it. How much was Pigeon's Flappy Pigeon guitar and how many were made?
    Babymetal are definite fan girls of music. It shows in how excited they are to do the collabs. I think all the young ladies in bands in Japan are fan girls. That is absolutely great.
    AI is a bit of a sore spot for me. I prefer rock and metal bands to much of the electronica sampling music. Can't tell me that a DJ who samples a bit from several songs to make a song is writing music. They are sound editors. Don't want to see AI replace real talented music composers and lyricists.
    Rick Beato had an excellent video that mentions reasons why American labels went away from rock bands. It's worth a look.

    I think he's been using the Morley Steve Vai bad horsie for quite some time now but I got some of us have to be jealous because I have a DigiTech drop pedal she's got at least two on her board I guess that makes it easier if you're doing multiple drop tunings for your guitar just to have one pedal set for each one

    Saw Hanabie in Lisbon last night, first performance back. They shortened the set list, probably because of Chika. They had an opener, an old school punk group from Lisbon, Albert Fish. They were really good. Great and wild as usual.

    I adore babymetal. But i know how angry i get at radio playing a hot song every 12 minutes, by the end of the day ,RAGE 🐱🐱 i sometimes feel sorry for su and moa, they've been singing and dancing to headbanger since they were children.

      Great point, but I would like to believe that it wouldn’t get old for them since they enjoy being on stage to rile up the audience.
      It’s like anyone’s job. We all typically repeat somewhat repetitive tasks, but if we enjoy it, then it never gets old!
      They do seem to have a ton of genuine fun on stage, and that’s hard to fake all the time!

    Nice update Maybe SU is just crushing on one of the guys from Fallout Boys, she was giggling quite a bit there.
    Also, they need to ban any AI from creating whole songs using other artists music to train their models, AI's are not creative, must stealing from real musicians. If you it, it will put real musicians out of business. If you're a record company and using these tools, why would you need real musicians in the studio when these tools can replace all the musicians at no cost.
