@Um Uh Well he's playing bass so he's a bassist Just because you play your bass a certain way doesn't mean you aren't a bassist. Especially the stigma about fingers vs. picks. Its dumb, it's just to make people feel like they're better because they play the instrument a certain way. Both sides have their advantages. If you want to play smooth, do a walking bass, or play jazz, you typically use your fingers. A lot of metal bassists use picks for obvious reasons. A lot of rock bassists also use picks. It's all personal preference. (Except jazz you really do need to use fingers for that most of the time.) Don't let people tell you you're a lesser musician because of how you choose to play your instrument. If you sound good, who cares?
Chunkie Roach the operatic section is extremely hard, if thats considered “easy” then that means any song would be easy for anyone, which is definitely not true
Props to the pianist. Believe me, the opera is so insanely quick and close to impossible to play perfectly live, and he nails it. They play it even quicker than the original!
NotYourAverageJoe ima be Honest with you they both are at best mediocre not trying to be rude or anything cuz I can’t sing either like at all but I am good with basically any other instrument and have experienced in the whole music genre as a whole. You can just tell by the greatly exaggerated vibratos/warblings and all that, they are rookies that’s just normal every new singer warbles when they sing, they think they sound good. They’re still new, In fact the reason I know this because when I sing this song lol it sounds just like this and I’m not the best singer. Vibratos and higher pitch vocals doesn’t always necessarily mean better singer. Regardless these kids are really young give them some years of vocal training and their voices will improve tremendously, because if this is their beginning with vocal training then damn they’ll sound good with 5 + years of vocal lessons. And bohemian rhapsody is a somewhat hard song to sing vocally and instrumentally with the constant shift from low to high. Constant key changes. And even genres changes when it goes to operatic to rock. And if that’s not enough Freddie added littles discrete details to the song that you don’t really notice until it’s not performed right. besides the vocalist here know they aren’t the best but they were willing to play in front of an audience. And that to me is best part. Willingly playing in front of tons of people is the start to a musicians career. They’ll be great 👍🏽. will say the guitar player was pretty good. And there were some parts where idk which one but one of the singers was actually like pretty good. It was the one that sang the least the one on the right.
As an absolute die hard Queen fan (original line up) I think this was a damn fine effort. From getting audience participation at the start in the style of Freddie, using various singers strengths to do the operatic part and the guitar solo. drummer here the drums were way off
guitarist here guitar was pretty on point
@@johnniethepelican1466 I'd say props to the rest of the band for being able to follow the drummer's increasing tempo smoothly. That takes some mad listening skills, especially during a live performence.
That guitarist nailed the solo.
Props to the the rest of the band playing instruments....
THEY did great.
The guy with the red guitar did mad good
love that the bassist is jamming his heart out the entire time. you can tell he's super comfortable on stage
guitar solo gave me chills
They come on stage
*Audience chatting and not listening.*
Singer: Ah oh!
*Audience immediately look at him and focuses.*
Here before they blow up
This is the best borap performance ive ever seen performed by students. Do much energy, passion, love and skills.
