Entertaining video about 3 free things to do in Florence. It would be interesting to see your take on the Bardini Gardens as an afternoon walk. You've persuaded us that watching the sunset over Florence from the Piazzale Michelangelo is a must for day 1 of our upcoming Florence itinerary, and that day 2 could well include a sunset walk over the Ponte Trinita and dinner at the Piazza Santo Spirito. It seems like the Bardini Gardens would be a very lovely walk with a panoramic view of Florence for day 3, and there's a restaurant with a view at the top of the gardens.

The cathedral is in fact a waste of time. There is reallly nothing to see in comparison with all other major cathhedrals in Europe. It would be better is Uffizi and Pitti palace and Gallleria would donate some of their works (of which they have far too much on display) to the Carhedral so that it will look like a proper cathedral
Thank you for sharing your opinion! It's always interesting to hear different viewpoints and it helps foster healthy discussions. The biggest thing for me is the painting on the underside of the dome and the paiting of Dante.
