Sir, thank you for this concise guide. I have owned my '22 SAS for over 2 years and am ready to install the heated grips.

Hello, the video was very well explained, I really liked it. I followed your instructions and when I finished I found that my motorcycle, a 2024 1290 r, does not have the option in the menu to enable heated grips? Under the language it does not appear, do you know how I can solve it? thank you

The ability to turn on the option for heated grips does not appear in all iterations of these motorcycles' software. It may have to be enabled at a dealership and then your ability to manage heated accessories will become available in your dash.

I have the same problem. I have two motorcycles, one 2022, the other 2023, and I also do not have the HEATING menu in SETTINGS. Did you manage to solve the problem? Maybe there is an additional hidden menu or something similar.

Thanks. They're such simple components, why on earth $20k+++ bikes can't include them from factory is beyond me...

Agreed, but we all know they leave the remaining details up for guys to accessorize them. Should they come stock? Sure, but we're here to show how to install them - cant change how they are built haha.

I'm not one of the Lucky guys, I am unable to find the connector😢.

Might have to take the tank off... Hopefully just keep fishing for the white blanked connector.

@@sp-ktm Had to take the tank off, the cable was really cose to the front cylinder 🥲, at least it worked at the first try 👌

They couldn't have just had these standard from factory...seriously KTM. This is an Adv/touring bike, kinda needs heated grips.

Don't disagree, but then again your iPhone doesn't come with all the apps either :-)
