  • West Way to Grand Slam is a lower-intermediate run located at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort. The trail runs from the main summit area (the top of the Berkshire Express) back down to the base area located at the bottom of the mountain. This trail is pretty easy, but I enjoyed it since it was very scenic and fun! It was one of two (and a half) runs open on opening day, the other also starting out as West Way then turning into either North Glade or Lower Glade, then Upper Slingshot, 360, and 180.
I had the great opportunity to visit Jiminy Peak for the first time on their Opening Day for the 2020-2021 ski season! They were one of the first ski areas to open in the Northeast this year! Opening just one day after first place Wachusett, which is also in Massachusetts, and Killington in Vermont. Next weekend I will be visiting Mount Snow in Vermont for their opening weekend (weather-permitting)!
Jiminy Peak is a ski area located in Hancock, Massachusetts, which is located in the Western half of the state, only a few miles from the border with New York. Located in the heart of the Berkshires/the Taconics, Jiminy Peak is the largest ski area in Massachusetts, in terms of both skiable area and vertical drop. The ski area is known as a nice, medium-sized family mountain, which has the charm of Vermont but is located closer to major population centers. I really like Jiminy, the skiing is good for such a small mountain, and the base area is extremely charming! In the Summer, Jiminy Peak is home to scenic lift rides, a mountain coaster, an alpine slide, a soaring eagle zipline, an ariel adventure park, and more!
Filmed on November 21, 2020, Opening Day.
Filmed with the all NEW GoPro Hero 9, with the Max Lens Mod attached and horizon leveling on.

Thanks for posting. Never been on this trail. Wanted to make sure my son could handle it.
