Salmon in Nordic countries is different than in USA. Because of the additives. Same with basically everything food related.
Berries, mushrooms, moose meat, fish soup... Some of my favourite foods. With allergies, vegan etc are available 99% places even if it's not always written on menu. Almost all places have menu online so people can check beforehand where and what they want to eat.
Fazer is a finnish company though, so they do make the turkish pebers. Those are my favourites by the way, shown in the video.
people are so afraid to eat turkish pebers because they think its spicy. i didn't eat them for the first 17 years of my life and after i had one it became one of my favorite candies.
Yes, but it is originaly from Denmark. Fazer bought it and now it is finnish. Same thing whit Dumle. Dumle is from Sweden and original Dumle was long and flat shape lollipop.

Mushroom picking season is very short (like all seasons here except winter). When you get fresh picked mushrooms cooked by someone who knows what they are doing even a little bit... its best thing in the world!

Hi, If you want a good salmon soup it must have cream. Btw the Karelian Pies can be anything from really bad to edible: The best Karelian pies You’ll get from are not sold in markets, but homemade and fresh. Only the elderly people are able to prepare them, cause the real taste comes from the indoor-house ovens warmed by woods! I have learned how to make them by my grandma who was evicted ( by the russians) from their Karelian home two times with 3 children. One of the childs is my father.

If you have had rye bread you haven't got Finnish rye bread. There is nothing similar in the world. And I hate when he says Tyrkish Peber is not from Finland. It says Fazer in the damn bag. It is Finnish. R-Kioski is like your 7-11. Also as a Chef I can say that when he said the waiters get a good wage is an insult to every Finnish restaurant worker. Not as bad as US but not far. So if you visit Finland no one is going to be mad at you if you tip your waiter. :)
Tyrkisk peber is Danish originally.
Tyrkisk Peber was invented in 1976 by Danish confectioner Per Fjelsten. Manufacturing in Denmark continued until the 1990s. Nowadays they are made in Finland.
Turkish Pepper is now Finnish, that is how business works... But it is Danish invention. And no one is going to be mad if you don't tip.
Well waitres still gets salary just for being in duty and pay his/her living if it´s fulltime job. Taxi drivers have only comission and doesn´t get anything if there are no clients. So please tip drivers if you can. Most of them have shitty salary at least in big cities where are lots of taxis. In smaller cities they get better salary becouse there is less taxis and they have much more clients than in big cities.
Hesburger ratio to Mcdonald's in my city is about 20 - 2 in favor of Hesburger. Mcdonal's has been an "endangered species" here. (NOT FROM FINLAND)
It is so much better, specially Hesburger fries, those alone make it worth while.
Lohikeitto (salmon soup) is the best soup unless it has lemon it tastes so bad that way

Sorry, the Swedish cinnamon bread is better.. but credit where credit is due - the Finnish chocolate is the best in the world.
And Swedish chocolate is second best in the world. I'm Finn and if Swedish was better i would say so, but.. Fazer blue is the benchmark when it comes to chocolate, it is hard to beat something that is so simple when it comes to the taste.. Marabou is a bit too sweet and "greasy", but so damn good in smaller doses. Excellent with the last drop of coffee in the cup, it melts in your mouth so fast. Oh, Swedish dark chocolate is better than Finnish, because it is a bit sweeter ;)
@@squidcaps4308 I'm Swedish myself, and I am 100% with you. Fazer Blue is the best milk chocolate in the world. Swiss and Belgian chocolates are very good, no bones about it, but Swedish is a bit better and Finnish chocolate is much better. The best.
Depends on who exactly baked them perhaps? Kanelbullar is (or was) a Swedish tradition even in Finland.
Also, while you may indeed love Fazer, I do not. :D Too burned and too sweet taste for me. I usually prefer Swedish, Danish, Swiss, and even German chocolate over it.

Cinnamon buns are the best when it is fresh and worm. Not much of difference is it in Finland or in Sweden. I just think that those taste the best whit cold milk. Coffee is second option to drink. Sorry to say but finnish coffee tastes better. I just don´t understand why so many swedes loves Löfbergs lila. Not for my taste.
What comes to chocolate Fazer red is better than blue. And that´s the second best chocolate right after Mignon eggs that Fazer makes. Frukt och mandel is my favourite from Marabou. If we go to cholate bars Pigall, Daim, Dubbel Nougat are my top three from Marabou and Geisha, Kismet and Suffeli are from Fazer.
If we go other countries Milka used to make hell of a good chocolate. They used to make small and thin milk cholate disks that had some kind of figure made of white chocolate. Those were like peace of heaven.
Of course there is Ferrero that makes Kinder products and i haven´t found any bad Kinder chocolate yet.
Also one of my big time favourite Toblerone comes from Swiss. I don´t remember what company makes it but original and white are good. There were also blue that had both in the same bar and it was best ever but i havent seen those over 25 years.
Big surprise is that i like almost every chocolate that Lidl sells. Can´t say bad things about German chocolates...
Finns love liquorice so much that there are also liquorice-flavoured condoms.
Mustamakkara god damn it !!! The reason he didnt catch any finnish, is coz everyone here speaks that much english.
