As someone who has not had the opportunity to travel, and certainly can't now due to the pandemic, I so appreciate the fact that you show different parts of England and now your trip home. Please extend best wishes and prayers to your parents on their Golden Anniversary! Thank you for making your videos so personal.

That was great! Oh I miss Germany. I felt a tear. It always strikes me how clean and orderly the streets are. Just beautiful! To me there is a real feeling of comfort when I see images of Germany, I can’t quite explain my kindred feelings but they are feelings that go past my brain and right from the heart.
I lived in West Germany for three years ago! The clean streets, the flowers, the cobblestones, and all of it, were so wonderful! I remember seeing chimney sweepers, "honey wagons", etc! We had to heat our bath water using oil for the water heater. Every year in the winter I think of Germany, how it snowed every time I blinked! I just loved living there! We lived in Kitzingen for awhile. I miss the Cordon Bleu I always ordered at resturants.
sissimoody My husband and I have only been there 1 time. Visiting our best friends. Since then they have moved to another country but one of my friends still has a house there. I hope to go back to Germany and see more of it. We were in Hamburg. We were only there for 17 days. I cried when we left. I cried that I was leaving friends but also wanted to never leave. I don’t know why it gripped my heart. There was also something about the culture that rang true to me. Well, there is no perfect place on this earth. It’s just that we are all drawn to certain things, and Germany was very special to me. So I enjoy that Kirsten and her husband are kind to share part of their trip with us. You were so lucky to live there.
For some of us it is too orderly and organised! Even nature is delimited and told where it can be and not be. I appreciate a landscape that is more natural and less defined but there are some very pretty areas.
What a breath of fresh air - I really sensed the feeling of being in another country and what relief to the soul it is to have a complete change of scenery. Your parents will be so happy to see you, the most important thing. Enjoy and have happy times all together 🍦🌞
This video was not boring at all. I loved the train ride and the traveling by car. It was lovely. It made me feel a part of your adventure! The houses were quite nice and different from England as you said. Thanks and have a great visit. Love from Maine ♥️ 🇩🇪
Oh, this is bringing back so many memories of my travels in Germany. I met some truly hospitable people. Like in Bavaria where my travelling companion and I went to a tavern to have dinner only to be invited to join the next table. And this lovely couple from Frankfurt paid for our meal. They said " what comes around, goes around" ! Have a great time!
As someone who loves Germany and England, what’s better than videos of such lovable Germans living in England? So glad you made it safely back to your homeland, and because of the train carrying your car, you won’t have to quarantine when you return to jolly old England. Having many dear friends I visit in the Bremen area and having to cancel my trip this year since I live in the USA, vielen Dank for taking me with you to my dear Deutschland. Although my heart hurts seeing all this German beauty and not be able to experience it myself, I’m crying tears of joy that I can be there with two of my favorite people🤗
This made my heart smile! I spent so many years in Germany and had both of my children there. It will always be so special to me. Thank you so much for sharing!

Joerg's ice-cream reminded me of my uncle's brother Mario and sister Ida who both owned gelateria cafes in Bremmen and Hameln many years ago. Joerg actually looks like one of the siblings - born in Trieste. Their father was Austrian. I have only been to Munich, but plan to do a lot more travelling in Germany. It was very interesting to see the part on entering the train.

You are so sweet........have a great visit....and thanks for sharing...!
I'm so glad to hear that you did not fly! I was so concerned about that aspect of your trip! WELL DONE~ And thank you for taking us along on your Journey to Germany! It was lovely that you showed us your old "stomping grounds", Kirsten :) I happy await seeing were Joerg grew up ~ You the time with your parents be Wonderful and their Anniversary warm, cozy and filled with LOVE~
This was quite exciting. You guys are never boring.
Thank you for inviting "us" along on your adventure...
I love watching your travels to different places. I've heard of traveling with car by boat but never train, how fortunate we are to be living in a time when traveling from one country to another is made so much easier and fun! Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful adventures, I truly enjoy watching them, it's better than Netflix.
So exciting, informative and precious. Thank you for showing the memories of the village area. I only visited Germany once and was hooked for life:) Often wear a "Koln" cap when walking our large dog. Cherry amaretto! Yes sir, that is a wise choice. Tschuss! D.
