Katra doesn't need a ropeway for development. And thes epony, pitthu, palki and cars moved on the same yatra marg making the return so slow that a trigger led to people starrting to run away from temple premises but unable to run. Had there been a quick return mode of transport like Ropeway which can run in case of emergency even in night such a tragedy would never have taken place in such a holy place. This way the Traditional Sacred Yatra is also intact and tranditional route business also intact. I understand that the ropeway will run only till Sanjhichatt from there still we need to walk or take pony for 2-3 hours to reach bhawan area. The traditional Yatra marg will remain intact. Pilgrims will walk the traditional route and on return they will go to Sanjhichatt and then return back to Katra. This way the Traditional Sacred Yatra is also intact and tranditional route business also intact. Very good decision by Shrine Board to create a ropeway for benefit of pilgrims to come back after yatra from Sanjhichatt route and preserve the Business of locals on the route.

Pilgrim is coming to Katra to do religious Yatra and not shopping on the Yatra Marg or Picnic on Yatra marg. Going by what the agitators are saying that its not a business place or picnic place then all the business shops, food outlets, pony rides ect should be stopped and only free langar sewa, free water tanks and free toilet service should be there on route.

Lekin doosri taraf, kuch local ghode pitthu wale touts pilgrims ka exploitation kar rahe hain, unse exorbitant cash favors maang rahe hain aur misbehavior karte hain. Yeh log gareeb aur majboor pilgrims ki vulnerability ka fayda uthate hain. Aise actions pilgrimage ki sanctity ko tarnish karte hain aur Shrine Board ke inclusive aur respectful environment banane ke efforts ko undermine karte hain. In issues ko address karna zaroori hai, aur ropeway ka implementation ek bada kadam hoga in unethical practices ko eliminate karne ke liye. Saath hi yeh un extra pilgrims ke liye helpful hoga jo pony service use nahi kar paate aur apni marzi se ropeway ride lekar Saanjichatt tak jana chahte hain, phir wahan se 3-4 ghante walk karke Bhawan pahunchna chahte hain. Aapne jo ropeway ke baare mein jo facts diye hain, woh galat hain. 3 ghante ka safar 6 minute mein complete karna mumkin nahi hai, yeh ek galat information hai jo public aur pilgrims ke beech failayi ja rahi hai.
Ropeway Tarakote se Sanjhichatt ke beech hai aur jo technical report online available hai, uske hisaab se yeh samay lagta hai:
- Katra town se Tarakote tak pahuchne mein 20-30 minute lagenge.
- Ticketing, waiting, queuing, boarding, aur Sanjhichatt tak pohuchne mein 30-45 minute lagenge.
- Sanjhichatt se Bhawan tak paidal chalne mein 2 ghante se 2.5 ghante lagenge.
- Bhawan premises ke paas darshan ki tayyari ke liye 3-4 ghante lagenge.
- Bhairon Darshan ke liye 2-3 ghante lagenge.
- Sanjhichatt se wapas aane mein 2.5-3 ghante lagenge.
- Tarakote tak neeche jaane mein 30-45 minute lagenge.
- Katra pahuchne mein 20-30 minute lagenge.
Toh, total Yatra time 12-15 ghante hoga agar poora pilgrimage ropeway ke through kiya jaye.
Aur jaise hum sab Mata Rani ke darshan ke liye ja rahe hain, sirf kuch log jo nahi chal pa rahe, budhi umar ke hain ya bimaar hain, woh helicopter aur ropeway choose karenge.
