The most badass intro in GBA history, i remember hearing the song start and seeing the pictures of zero flash by as like a 7 year old. It was so beautiful to me and still gives me the same chills

Buuuuuuuuuut, with Little Mac and even dlc characters, I’d still pay for Zero to be a character in Smash Bros, my favorite video game character after all. And I was hopping back in Smash 4 they’d add him but like from this series. Now having skins like Sora, we could have both X-Zero and the Zero from this series and even ZX-Advent
I grew up with this game. i played this everyday back in middle school. explored every corner of all maps, got all the cyber-elfs, all healing flasks to the point my zero had like 3 HP bars, all the outfits, mastered all weapons and their movements(I also found a way to combined 2 high damage sword abilities like uppercut slash and groundbreaker to perform a deadly combo), and heck, even I challenged myself to use sword all the way from new game to end game. I never use a single cyber-elf throughout the game just because i don't want them gone and afaik there's no way you can get them back once you use them, so i only had to use Zero's ability; my own ability as the player. My favorite outfit was the black one (proto outfit?) which give you crazy amount of damage while decreasing your defense alot and sacrificing your charge ability, so it's perfect for sword user while having fast reaction time as a player. good times. even this youtube account name was inspired by this exact zero aswell. I added '-line' which means zero's way of life based on the series, atleast that's what I meant it. this game was my hero. it helped me through my lonely time. My favourite parts? The freaking INTRO! (damn that 3 pieces of scenes excite me everytime), when I fought Elpizo, and also, i think this one has the best soundtrack of all series. oh also, in this stage, you can destroy the boss's left hand so it won't have any additional shield anymore but it takes more time and will decrease your overall end stage point so it's not worth it. just sayin'.
the bad thing is that fucking fraude of Inafune put it in a portable console (bad idea) and not many people like the design of this Megaman series (seriously compare the Original Zero to this) its why the Zero series are not that well know to X or the original Megaman

Bro omg yes lmfao i cant explain how accurate this is to my life. The legit same thing would happen to me, the intro was what kept me playing this game over and over when I was a kid and kept dying. Then as I got older and got farther, finally mastered the jumps and beat the first bosses I realized this game was actually fucking insane lol
The green adversary was my pic for if I ever wasn't playing as Zero or Megaman. Made me so happy to see him in the intro and hear that boss music. First time playing through these games and am currently on the Megaman Zero 2.
Fun fact: but the reason why he was rusty and collapsed onto the floor after battle is not due to exhaustion. It’s because Neo Arcadia weaponised the sandstorm he was walking thru at the beginning to add micro-magnet mines that paralyse enemies & chemicals that cause ECM effects. Neo Arcadia literally threw pocket sand at him.
I'm pretty sure this was never mentioned in the game, was it mentioned in some official source outside of the game? If so, may I have the source of that? Otherwise it sounds like you're making this up.
I'm quite disappointed on Ippo Yamada's composition these days since he mostly focuses now in mostly electronics... What I was looking after is this kind of composition and arrangement where both rock and electronics matched like fire and coal. This is what I've been looking after Yamada-sensei. I was looking after what he did in the very first Departure composition where the game slaps you the story in the game

Inafune designed this series as opposed to X6 through X8. Hence the amazing subtle qualities in the game play and even the stage intro.
