Jon - As a new PA5X owner I am really enjoying and benefiting from your videos. So thanks very much and keep up the great work! I was hoping you could clarify one of the early comments you made in this video. You mention how the sampling function in the PA5X does not allow you to layer multiple samples per note that could be triggered by velocity. My question: is this simply a limitation of the sample recording function of the PA5X, or is it a limitation of the overall SOUND EDITING capability of the keyboard? In other words, would it be possible to create a new sound in the PA5X (using its internal synthesis engine) that DID allow you to layer velocity-triggered samples per note if those samples were instead created on another sampling device or software program (e.g. Logic Pro or Ableton or the TX16Wx ) and then imported into the PA5X? I apologize in advance if I'm not explaining myself clearly here, as I am new to sampling in general.
@moogy77 Great question, I was looking through all my videos, and I show a lot of stuff on the pads and the Matrix, but nothing on how to bring in an MP3. I think you have to create a sound first. So let me work on that. Maybe in the next week or two, I'll do a video on that topic. You take care of my friend, and I'm glad to hear from you. 👍🎹👍
Thank you so much Jon, I was waiting for this long time 😊
@@edikart4338 You got it.

Hello and thank you for your vids!
Do you have a vid that shows how to import an MP3 to a pad to then trigger it?
Thanks,

I have c2 c3 c4 c5 sample of the sound from Genos. Do you think i can make a good sound out of it?
And I don’t have access to Genos anymore.😅
@edikart4338 Yes, just make sure you put those files in a folder on the USB flash drive. Load the drive into the Pa5x and import them.
