Carcass' Dan Wilding is such a force behind the kit, a tight, powerful and joyful player, but at the same time he is such a pleasant and humorous conversationalist. When he admits that he owes pretty much everything in his life to drumming, I think to myself, "yeah, that's a bit like me...."

Ken Owens wasn’t a technically proficient as Dan but there was a charm to Ken’s early sloppiness. His beats were always just nasty sounding and catchy af. I love that Dan keeps true to Ken’s parts and injects his own personality into the music. That shows respect for the legacy. He’s a great player with a great attitude, he’s definitely worthy of the Carcass throne…
